Bright blue skies with smears of foamy clouds surrounded the grounds. The wind left a small chilly bite as it swished by in a hollow whistle. Each swish of the wind sent a rustling groan from the dark forest, the leaves and needles bristled against each other. The creaks emitting from deep within the forest freaked Jisung out, a shiver ran down his spine -- he couldn't figure out if it was from the chilly wind or the dark aura coming from the dark forest.

Slush sloshed beneath his feet, the wind brushed past his robes. Tendrils of ice slithered around his waist and up his spine causing the ravenette to tug the robes tightly around him. "Donghyuck why is it so cold out?" The duo were once again walking to their classes on the other side of the grounds of Hogwarts.

Donghyuck only looked at him and giggled softly, a dazed expression weaved across his features in slopes of glittering sunlight. The bright warmth refracted within his brown iris'. "I don't know but just be happy it isn't raining or snowing. Sucks for you though because you have to go to Hagrid's hut for class while I get to go into the Herbology building." He stuck his tongue out at Jisung when the younger turned to him.

With a sharp glare sent the Slytherin's way the ravenette stalked off towards Hagrid's hut settled at the edge of the dark forest. Jisung ignored the former, his steps caused a mixture of snow, gravel and water to splash up onto the edge of his robes. His fluffy black hair stuck up in multiple directions, the breeze threading through his dark locks like someone running their fingers through his hair -- it was oddly comforting. A small group of students were already gathered out front of the large wood and stone hut, smoke billowing from the stone furnace tunnel.

His fingers fiddled against the cover of his book in gentle taps. A grumble growl reverberated from the sentient book settled within his arms, the fuzzy book was clearly unhappy with the tapping. Jisung's brows pulled down into a worried furrow, mouth downturned while he looked down towards the book to see the eyes of the book staring up at him.

"I am so sorry, please don't be mad." The book of monsters only narrowed its eyes at him before let out a miffed gurgle. Gentle pink and wind-bitten stroked the spine in efforts to appease the stubborn sentient creature.

Loud boisterous laughter caught his attention, up ahead was the Occamy bearing Slytherin with his head thrown back. The delightful melody of deep raspy chuckles mixed with a pitch of sugar in a sweet tune. The sound of Jaemin's laughter drew out a faint smile upon Jisung's face. He was laughing at something Hagrid had told him -- the Occamy didn't seem to impressed with the two men, it's golden eyes shut as it slept soundly on his shoulder.

Hagrid smiled once he saw Jisung approach them, his favorite student -- he of course didn't let the other students know that. The laughter quieted down into small giggles that would slip from Jaemin's pink lips. Sensing the eyes on him, the Slytherin opened his whiskey eyes, sending Jisung a small smile.

"Ah hello...what was your name again?" Jaemin leaned forward in an odd manner like he was asking the question by simply leaning in.

Jisung startled back from the sudden proximity of the highly attractive male who had the laugh of lightly sugared coffee. He knew he was being ridiculous, it's just not every day that the lanky boy had the opportunity to interact with new people; his demeanor and aura he had revolving about his person was stiff, shadowy with just a dash of spikey remarks. That obviously didn't make him the most approachable or likeable person -- Jaemin, however, wasn't deterred, he'd dealt with his fair share of spiky and moody creatures, this boy wouldn't be any different.

"Uhhh Jisung, my name's Jisung." Pink rested across the bridge of his nose and cheekbones, from what he was unsure. His heart dropped with fear when the Occamy lifted it's head, bright golden eyes bore into his. His underlying worry was beginning to slip through the mask of neutrality he wore.

"I- will you stop staring into his soul? You're freaking him out." Jaemin's scarred fingers booped the Occamy's head away breaking it's focus on Jisung before he continued. "I just wanted to apologize for pouring water on you, that was not the smartest thing I could've done." Sincerity flowed around the words as they spilled from the male's mouth, his eyes gleamed with that comforting glow.

Jisung let a cute smile break out on his face, his cheeks puffed up from the force of the smile, eyes crinkling softly at the corner. "It-it's alright. I'm sure they don't mean to, I am a strange looking human."

The Occamy quickly shot across to Jisung's shoulder, wrapping its tail around the boy's neck in a gentle hold. The iridescent blue and purple feathers glistened with the movement. Jaemin let out a yell when the feathered serpent slid onto Jisung's shoulder.

The blonde watched the creature as it let out a small cooing noise as it nudged against the pale neck with a smooth beak. Jisung froze, his body going rigid before he smiled softly once he noticed the shocked expression on Jaemin's face. The ravenette brought a finger up to gentle pet over the smooth feathers.

"They've never done that. They're normally really skittish with others..." Jaemin murmured softly, voice barely above a whisper. Glimpses of a smile reached his eyes with little sparkles. "Anyway, I'm Hagrid's new teaching assistant."

A deep-bellied laugh erupted from Hagrid, the large man put a hand over his stomach at the confused expression on Jisung's face. "Of course ye are, now play nice please, we got a long class ahead of us."
