Showers of golden glitter-like magic rained through the corridors and great hall, each step down the hall was warmed by the comforting presence of magic. Jisung's arm looped around Jaemin's, his large hands clutching at the Slytherin's robe. Soft murmurs passed between the two, off in their own world. Ghosts that floated through the walls congratulated the older male, some even offering small talk to both of them with kind and reassuring smiles.
Jisung's chest clenched at the prospect of being the only one left at Hogwarts while his friends were off adventuring in the world. His fingers subconsciously tightened their hold, his eyes peering down at the blue haired male. Nervous energy crackled off his being like shattered glass beneath foot.
As if sensing the field of nervousness, Jaemin released a knowing sigh, hand shifting upwards to intertwine with the brunette's. The coarse fabric of their robes brushed against the edge of Jaemin's hand as he moved to grab Jisung's hand. He leaned closer, whiskey eyes peering into the younger's coffee brown eyes.
"What's upsetting you, Sungie?"
Deflating with a sigh, the brunette hummed in contemplation of lying to his other half. The mere idea of lying to him made his chest ache even more. "I'll be all by myself next year, since Chenle is graduating a year early for being so smart." He hugged their intertwined hands close to his chest for instinctual comfort.
His face gave away the true heartbreak festering beneath the surface, his eyes watered, brows slightly furrowing and his lips trembled in the thin line they were pressed in. Jisung's body curled around the warm hand clasped in his own, his expression barred, but searching.
Adoration washed over Jaemin, his expression softening as the puzzle pieces fell into place; Jisung was afraid to be alone even when surrounded by hundreds of other students. Something akin to pained yet affectionate noise rumbled from the depths of Jaemin's chest. Careful to not untwine their hands and the warm grip the brunette has on his arm, he stepped into a smaller space at the turn in the hallway. Away from the prying eyes of their fellow students, he pulled Jisung into his chest, head craned back to rest atop the formers.
"I'm not leaving you here by yourself." Jaemin let out, fingers running through the soft brown stress-mused locks. "I'll still be here, or did you forget? I'm Hagrid's assistant, I won't be going anywhere honey."
The fond nickname cooed into his ear brought a deep red flush to Jisung's body. Curling closer to the shorter man, he hummed a noise of question.
A small knowing laugh floated around them, a smile reserved only for Jisung hidden behind the latter's chocolate brown hair. The conversation had ended verbally, an understanding reached between the two as they held each other in the small nook off the hallway's direct pathway.

Fate had decided to give Jaemin and Jisung a much easier time colliding; granted, they had a very rough short-lived beginning. Their counter-part Renhyuck couple, however, were not as easy for fate to intertwine. In fact they had fought tooth and nail, while the former couple went along with each gentle brush of wind and nudge of encouragement fate gave them.
Nature gleamed in elation as it watched the two men at the train station. Glittering smiles and affectionate words are exchanged beneath the clear blue skies hanging above. Jaemin's pearly white teeth peeked behind his blush pink lips, his canines catching the corners, from the sheer force of happiness bubbling within his chest.
"You better come back soon! I'll find a way to stay in contact besides owls." The blue haired male leaned forward to press a gentle kiss to Jisung's cheek, in not only farewell, but greeting when they see each other again
Jisung grumbled, acting in faux disgust at the tiny action of affection. "You'll have to meet my parents sometime. They really want to meet you." Loud high pitched whistles were forced from the pipe sitting atop the conductors cart of the Hogwarts Express.
The bluette sighed, pushing Jisung back into the window of the train cart. Out of the corner of his eye he catches their group of graduated friends making faces at the two. Head thrown back in his signature cackle bordering villainous erupted from his throat. Sunlight poured into his whiskey eyes, the sheer brightness of the light refracted off his iris' making them look as if his entire being was glowing in elation.
"Jaemin?"
"Yes?"
Jisung's dark brown eyes searched the formers, fondness strummed his heartstrings. Each glitter of sunlight covering the sun-honeyed skin of the Slytherin drew the younger male closer. Ignoring Jaemin's noises of protest, he leaned back out the train cart window - further than he had before. Large hands fumbling, he gripped the collar of Jaemin's t-shirt tugging him against the side of the train cart.
His breath swirled from him in puffs, the candies he had eaten before boarding sweetened his breath. The candied flavor of his mouth pressed against Jaemin's, ears tinting red at the rumble of cheers and noises of disgust all around them. Calloused warm palms cupped his face, the bluette pushed himself up onto his tippy toes to press closer into the candy-sweet kiss, one hand clutching the window sill as he poured his love into the body-warming affection.
Pulling away from the lip-lock, Jaemin grinned at Jisung. He lowered himself back to his heels, fingers squeezing the latter's in reassurance for the future.
"Take care of yourself. You better keep me updated, love."
His reprimanding yet light-hearted comment brought one of Jisung's signature gummy smiles to the brunette's face.
