Chapter 11

I cried for a couple minutes while Maggie comforted me and the guys looked around but staying nearby.

I got up and wiped my tears and runny nose.

Maggie pulled me into a tight hug.

"You know. Along with Beth, your like a sister to me." she whispered into my ear.

We pulled away and I smiled at her with tears in my eyes, her the same.

"Lets go.." I said lowley.

"LET ME GO!" I heard a little boy yell

"SHUT HIM UP!" a boy I think a teenager yelled.

I looked at everyone and ran to the yelling.

I saw 3 teenage boys and...

James.

I raised my gun and so did the others.

"There's a whole lot of us and not a lot of you." I said causing them to jump and turn to us raising their guns.

"Put the guns down." Rick said in a calm but angry tone.

"Or what" The tallest boy smirked

"Or this." I said and shooting him right in the forehead.

The other 2 boys were shot down by Rick and Glenn.

I ran to James and hugged him, both of us falling to the ground.

He started crying into my shoulder. "I love you mum" He cried.

My eyes widened.

Mum?

I decided not to say anything since he was traumatized. I carried him the way back.

After walking a bit we saw the place I call "Home".

I saw Lizzie in the front yard with someone. I really hope it isn't a scratcher.

We ran over to her and she turned around with a bloody knife in her hand and a body laying behind her.

"Don't worry I didn't hit her head." She smiled with pride.

I looked at the body and saw Mika.

I screamed and started crying.

"Now you guys will see that I'm not crazy! That walkers are friends! I was going to do Judith but you guys came, I can do her now if-"

Rick grabbed Judith and hugged her tightly giving Lizzie a death stare.

The rest of us were in too much shock to do anything.

The rest of the group came out. Some have their hands over their mouths and some are crying.

I ran over to Sierra with James still in my arms.

"Don't look." I said while they cried into my chest.

I closed my eyes and Maggie came up to me.

"Hunny get in the house.. Go to your room. You guys aren't going to want to be here." She whispered in my ear so the kids wouldn't hear.

I got up with James still in my arms clinging onto me, Sierra doing the same with my leg.

We got to the room and the kids jumped on the bed and covered their eyes while sobbing.

Before I closed the door I heard a loud gunshot go off.

I froze.

I heard the sobbings stop. I turned around and looked at two traumatized kids. In complete shock.
