Chapter 7

"We will solve any case for you!" Ayumi says as the three of them were waving around flyers for hiring the Detective Boys, "Anybody with problems can count on us, the Detective Boys. Hey! Conan, Nao! Don't just stand there kissing, help us out!" Genta shouts at us, I turned my head around, "Pshh, I'm the Great High School Detective Kudou Shinichi I can't play with you kids," He huffs.

"What are you doing Ran-neechan? Nao?" Ku saw the two of us at the stove, "Mm, just something," We both say, "It smells like chocolate," He sniffs the air, "Tomorrow is Valentines day," I look at him. The next day, Ran was heading out to a friend's house for a Valentines day lunch, Ku and I decided to follow her to see who she'd give her chocolate to, "How long does Ran plan to stay in there? I'm freezing," I cuddled closer to Ku, "I get what you mean," Ku rubs my arm and he sneezes, Ran turned around and she saw us, we both freak out and run around trying to find a hiding spot, "Conan-kun, Nao-chan, what are you doing here?" We heard Ran's voice, we both stopped, "I was on the way to take Nao on a date because it's Valentines day but we got lost!" Ku makes up an excuse, "If only you would take me on a date today," I throw my head up towards the sky, "I promise I'll make it up to you once we find the antidote for the pill," He tries to get in my line of sight but I keep turning my head away from him, "It must be cold outside, come on in." We saw someone's moth invite us in, "Thank you!" We both smile. "It's about time someone puts on a show for us, Naomichi do something for us," Minagawa was clearly drunk, he didn't do anything, "Why don't you do something Nao? You're very good at gymnastics," Ran pushes me forward, I blush bright red, "B-But there's so many people watching," I stutter, "Come on Chibi-chan, show us what you've got," Minagawa looks at me, "Nao! Nao! Nao! Nao! Nao!" They all cheered, I got on the table and did a simple walkover, they cheered and whooped, I smiled, it was bringing me back to my gymnastic tournament days, where I could actually compete when I was 16, I do a double layout, a punch out, double twist and one and a half layout and I finished with an aerial off the table and a roll out, I grinned, "Wow Chibi-chan you're going on the world stage next thing you know," Minagawa claps, "Thank you Minagawa-niisan," I smiled, "You know you're adorable, if you were our age I'd say you have a pretty face," He pets my head, both of us laughed, I didn't realise Ku furrowing his eyebrows in the corner, he turns to Naomichi, "Well come on, Chibi-chan could do it. Are you going to do anything?" He shouts at him, Naomichi just looked down not doing anything, "Just looking at your face makes me sick," Minagawa walked off, "Eh... Minagawa-niisan..." I saw him leave, "Isn't Minagawa being a little mean?" Ran asks Sonoko "That's how a man should be," She says back, "I'd say so otherwise, I happen to love how caring and protective you are," I hug Ku, he blushes and kisses my head, "Anyways, did you bring your chocolate?" Sonoko asks Ran she nods, "Ahh," I looked and saw Ku putting a piece of sushi from the platter towards my mouth, I closed my eyes and opened my mouth, "Yummy," I smiled, "Geez these kids are more lovesick than we are, and they're actually getting somewhere with Valentines day." Sonoko looks at us, "They act just like Shinichi and Nariko," She looks at us, "Who's Nariko and Shinichi?" I put on the act, "Oh, you don't know? Kudou Shinichi's the Famous High School Detective, Ran's their best friend, they grew up together, he solves any case in an instant! And Yuki Nariko's his girlfriend, she's an amazing gymnast and always qualifies to the final rounds and takes home gold for Teitan High School!" Sonoko explains, "Wow, they sound amazing," Ku had a sly look on his face, "Baka," I slap his head, "I'm doing, I, Suzuki Sonoko is going to give Minagawa my chocolates!" She stands up, "So Ran-san what are your hobbies? I'm sure it's something like gardening or drinking tea if we're talking about someone as beautiful as you!" Wakamatsu leans over, "It's karate," Ku and I both say at the same time, "Why would Ran-san do something that savage?" He laughs, Ku, Ran and I deadpan, "It really is karate," She nods, "You have to be joking right!" He continues laughing, Ran puts on a fake laugh with him, she clearly wanted Sonoko to come back.
