The invitations

Sniffles pov

I was in a science lab in the college where me and my two friends were one afternoon. When a fellow classmate of mine came in and said, "Hey Sniffles?" I replied, "That's me." He then said as he gave me three envelopes, "You and two others are invited to a event that suits you three." I see my name on the first envelope then I saw August and Kim's names on the second and third one. I was gonna ask but the classmate just ran away. Seriously? There is no running in schools especially in college. I dropped everything (not literally) and went to their place. When I arrived I knocked on the door. A female voice said, "Who's there?" I figured it was their Mom and said, "Hey Mrs. Seras it's Sniffles can I come in?" Mrs. Seras opened the door and said, "Oh hi. I assume your here for August and Kim?" I said while adjusting my glasses, "Yes mam." Mrs. Seras stepped outta the way and said, "Come on in. They're upstairs." I said walking in, "Thank you." Mrs. Seras then asked, "Would you like some tea?" I said politely, "No thank you Mrs. Seras but thanks for the offer." I went over to August's room where a green light was shined under the door. I let myself in his room to see Kim and August working on a super growth potion for plants. August noticed me and said, "Hey Sniffles your just in time." I said, "I am but for what?" Kim said, "Your just in time to witness our growth serum for plants to be tested." I sat down as they demonstrated their serum. It was only a success a little bit cause it didn't grow as great as they hoped. August asked, "Are we missing something?" Kim replied looking at the chalk board, "Afraid so. But unfortunately I dunno what. We added the soil while the plant is having energy to grow." August said, "Yeah photosynthesis is important to the plant indeed." I then said clearing my throat, "As much as I love to hear about this plant growth serum you guys but I got an announcement." Both Kim and August asked, "What is it?" I said showing the envelopes with our names on it, "We got invitations." August takes his as Kim said taking hers, "I wonder what were invited to." I shrugged before we opened our envelopes. We were surprised that we were invited to an actual science fair. August said with amazement, "Wow. A science fair. Which is both for science projects and have fun at a science style carnival." I said, "I know right? This is exciting." Kim said, "When does it start?" I said looking at them, "Tomorrow night." We were thrilled as I said, "So what do you say guys?" August and Kim said, "We're in!" We then gave each other a group high five. Though that was only the beginning.
