Prolouge

A/N- before reading, understand that this book is set in 2020 during all of the crazy events happening in the world at the moment. It's a way for me to relieve myself and escape to a place where I love; Kingdom Hearts. This book may seem cringe to many but I'm writing this moreso for myself and for some people to enjoy. The OrganizationXIII has always been my favorite part of Kingdom Hearts, so placing a character that I relate closely to into their world to meet them and live with them is just my dream. Anyways, here's Chapter 1. Comment your thoughts, laughs, oof moments, all of that extra stuff. Because as a twenty something year old woman...I need some sort of Inner child time too.

October 8th, 2020–

Another day in quarantine. Since I was laid off from my low-paying retail job, I've been spending more time at home because I have been showing symptoms of Covid-19, also known as the Corona Virus. A deadly virus which has been purging the planet for half a year now. It's kind of lonely in my little corner of the world, other than the occasional scrawny stray feline that stops at my doorstep every Tuesday for a piece of raw meat.

I was enrolled in a University, a very prestigious one, a few of my good friends remained on campus because their major is apparently more important than mine. I major in Fine Arts and Art history. My only other choice was to continue my studies remotely from home.

I'm trying to enjoy the sweet serene peace that I have for now, no real responsibilities. Just me and my artwork and a nice striking flame within the fireplace. Other than art, I also enjoy playing video games...my father introduced me to Kingdom Hearts
a game in which I find myself playing a whole awful lot now. My favorite one is (favorite kh game).

Just as I was about to play 358/2 days, I felt myself grow tired. My eyes felt heavy and each time I tried to pull myself back into reality I felt tired. I reached for the television remote to change the input of the tv but when I leaned for the remote I felt myself black out. Bumping my head onto the coffee table i grunt as my eyes close, my body no longer feeling like it's self.

Waking up, I notice an all white room, tall chairs placed in scattered areas and there was nothing else in sight. I rubbed my eyes once or twice to reveal that I was in the hall Where Nothing Gathers.
Gasping, I stood to my feet, wobbly I attempted to walk but I took one step and fell back down. "Hello?" I called out. Hoping for a Nobody to discover that I am indeed here.

Not by choice—-by accident. "Hello?!" I yelled once more, my voice echoing in the hall.

"Well would you look at that." One voice spoke out, I knew it from anywhere! Number 2. Xigbar. His footsteps echoed in my ear as he walked closer.

Numb with anticipation I hoped the nobody wouldn't attack me or throw me into the prison where they kept Kairi for most of Kingdom Hearts 2. I wonder how this world worked...is this happening before KH2? Before 358/2 days? During? My head grew groggy again and before I knew it, Xigbar stood in front of me. His patched eye covered and his golden eye trained on me giving a smug smirk.

"Looks like we've got a stowaway." He chuckled and held his hand out for me to grab.
"You're not going to attack me?" I asked. My voice hoarse for some reason.

"As if! I'm taking you to The Superior." he shook his head and pulled me up to my feet. "Then I might attack you..." My eyes widened, staring at him he laughed. "I'm just messing with ya. Relax. How'd you even get here?" his voice returning back to a serious tone.

I haven't the foggiest idea how I got here. I bumped my head, perhaps transporting me into a limbo—my limbo was probably the last thing I was thinking about which was Kingdom Hearts. But I cant tell Xigbar that he's in a video game. That'll confuse everything and everyone.

"No idea sir." I managed to say. "I woke up and appeared in your weird fortress...I'll be on my merry way."

"No way you're leaving just yet! Xemnas would be glad to meet you. Plus you look of use to us...what's your name?" he grinned as we began to walk down the halls of The Castle that Never Was.

"Y/N. Y/N, L/N."

This chapter was short because it's basically about how Y/N got here. Chapter 1 will be a time skip into basic daily life in the Organization 13 and whats Y/N's role. She's still new so chapter 1 would basically be 1 week since she's been in the castle! I'll also be changing the story Point of View to 3rd person only because it's easier for me as a writer ! Other than that...thank you lovelies for reading this story so far!
