Jade and Sapphire left the cafeteria to go to the weapons bay. Apparently, some remnants of the asteroid were floating around and needed to be cleared out. Sapphire sat in the seat that controlled the weapons while Jade stood at a nearby panel fixing some wiring.

'Why did you vouch for me?' asked Jade.

'I didn't,' said Sapphire. 'I didn't really defend you all that well?'

'So, you think it is me?' said Jade. Sapphire took a moment to turn and look at Jade.

'I don't. Not just because of Sage's logic, but I also genuinely feel that it isn't you,' said Sapphire. 'You had a lot of conviction when defending yourself. I don't think anyone can fake that level of conviction.' Jade looked at her in surprise. Suddenly another emotion replaced it. Shame.

'I'm sorry I accused you without any evidence when Moss died,' said Jade with her head hung.

'No worries. We were all a little on edge then. I don't blame you for being irrational,' said Sapphire. Jade finished fixing the wiring and replaced the panel. Sapphire got out of the chair for weapons control.

'I think we're mostly done. Let's head back to the cafeteria,' said Sapphire. Right at that moment however, the lights started flickering. They flickered for a moment and came back on. Jade and Sapphire looked at each other.

'Was that supposed to happen?' said Sapphire. The lights flickered again and stayed off longer before coming on.

'I don't think so,' said Jade. This time the lights flickered and went out completely. Jade and Sapphire could barely see a few feet in front of them.

'Fuck this,' said Jade. She walked over to a nearby cupboard and opened it.

'What are you doing?' said Sapphire.

'Getting insurance,' said Jade. She pulled out two laser guns and two torches from the cupboard. 'These won't penetrate through the hull of the ship, but they will kill anything they're pointed at. I'm done walking around terrified.' She handed a gun and torch to Jade.

'Let's go on the hunt instead of being hunted this time,' said Jade.

Grey was recalibrating the shields of the ship with Jett and Violet when the lights went out.

'What the hell man. What the fuck is wrong now?' he exclaimed. 'Let's go to electrical and fix this guys,' he said to Jett and Violet. He could barely see them in the darkness, but he thought they nodded. They began walking towards the electrical room. They had to pass through storage to reach electrical. However, as Grey was walking through storage, he heard loud footsteps coming from the cafeteria. He paused in fear. Was someone using the light failing as a chance to murder someone? Before he could react, Sage turned a corner and barreled into Grey.

'Sage what the hell, why did you leave your trio?' asked Grey. Sage seemed unusually flustered. In that second Grey realized who was the imposter.

'It's them isn't it?' he asked.

'Yeah,' said Sage.

'Why the hell did you leave Ash then?' asked Grey.

'What? I didn't leave....' began Sage. He turned and looked behind him. 'Oh god, Ash was right behind me when I started running. I thought he could outrun her.'
