I stare at the door from where I lay on the couch. My Master is going to be home soon. I had fallen asleep right before he left for work, so I did not get to go with him, and Brandon started his new boarding school last week. Which means I will not see him until his winter holidays and to make a bad day even worse. All my toys were packed away in boxes. So, what was I supposed to do all day? The sound of keys outside the front door makes my tail thumps against the side of the couch.

"Hey buddy!" My Master greets me scratching softly at the top of my head. I used to be annoyed by all the petting, but I have come to like it because it is his only way of really showing me affection.

I scratch at his legs and whimper when he shuts the door to go put his stuff down in his office.

"Yes, yes, I know you have to go do your outside let me just put my stuff away and get your leash." He says as I feel the leash hook to my large silver collar. I know that it's specially made to keep me from shifting into a human and although it sounds awful it's not really that heavy and it has felt on the inside to keep it from doing too much harm to me. Even though I think there are some patches of fur that might not ever grow back on my neck because when the silver from the outside touches me it burns bad.

I have gotten used to living like this since I got taken. It is not as bad as it may seem. I get fed three times a day and I have a home with a nice family. My Master understands I am a werewolf, but the rest of the family just thinks I am a house dog wolf mix. He had bought me several years ago from a supernatural auction house. The owner with the help of other hunters took me from the forest I was living in with my baby brother.

"Tomorrow we are moving to our new home are you excited buddy?" He asks me as I spot a bone, he had given me a few months ago in some bushes and I run to get it.

We move around a lot because of Master's job. We moved to this town to get rid of a vampire that was terrorizing the Humans that lived in this city. My Master took care of him a few weeks ago so now it is time to move on to his next assignment. I am not sure where we are going, but I honestly do not pay that much attention anymore.

I lazily watch the trees of a forest go by as we make our way to our new home. I hope our yard has a lot of trees. My Master had given me part of an elk antler to chew on for the ride. He knows they are my favorite toy and he also knows I do not like car rides. Cars go way to fast for anybody to enjoy them and there is way too many bumps.

The car comes to a stop and Master turns it off. I rise to a sitting position as I look at what is going to be my new home for a few months. It is a cute little blue cottage type house with very few houses around which means lots of yard space for me to run around in. Our old house was in a large city and I did not like the noise very much so that made me happy. There are also lots of trees around reminding me of my home. I wonder how far I am from home. My Master laughs as he opens the door and I jump out extremely excited to see my new home.

"Do you like your new home boy?" He questions even know I think he knows the answer. He clips my leash on me and lets me sniff around the gravel as he locks the car up. I have always loved the smell of the forest and this one smells more of nature then most we have lived in. Sometimes its hard to smell a forests natural scent because of all the chemicals in the air. Master throws my antler over a fence and walks me inside the yard hooking my leash to a chain already tied to a tree.

"We will have to build a higher fence so you can run around unchained, but you will be okay for now. You are probably enjoying the fresh air after being in the car for so long." He tells me as he walks back to the car.
