Love from the Past

Prologue

This is my first story that will be posted and I'm not the most confident in it but I wanted to do so here it is.

In a city park, there is a commotion that can be heard from far away. A kid with sandy blond hair was standing over a girl who was a year older than him.

"With a quirk like yours it's no wonder that i can beat you," the kid says as he looks down at the girl while she is close to tears. The kids whose name is Katsuki Bakugo was about to let off another explosion when he heard a small voice yell at him.

"L-l-leave her alone kacchan!" a little kid said as he was running towards them, standing in between them, "I-i-i-if you don't leave her alone I'll have to stop you m-m-myself."

"And what makes you think that you can stop me Deku. You don't even have a quirk. You are just a waste of space that we don't need. Now GET out of our way or we'll have to beat you." Even though the green, messy haired kid was quivering and absolutely terrified, he stood his ground in a fighting stance, determined to protect the girl behind him.

"Hey, you should just leave. You are going to get hurt if you just stay here to protect me, a person that you don't even know," as she was expecting the kid to run away, taking her advice, he did something that she didn't expect. All he did was look behind him to look at her and gave her the brightest smile she had ever seen from anyone that she ever met.

"It's okay that I don't know you. You were in trouble so I came to help you."

"But why, you are obviously going to get hurt so why do you stay to fight for me?" she yelled to the surprise of everyone.

" I am doing this because that is what a hero is supposed to do," he said as he gave her another million-watt-smile.

Katsuki looked on and at that moment found some newfound respect for the timid kid not backing down. He was still going to give him a beating worse than his parents would ever give him.

As everyone sat there and watched, Bakugo snap his fingers giving his lackeys behind him the signal that they were going to start the beating on the kid known as Izuku Midoriya. Bakugo then rushed at him, firing an explosion directly at his face. Izuku was blasted away but still found the strength to stand up but not for long because as soon as he stood up the kid with red wings flew up and kneed Midoriya in the face.

The onslaught wasn't done after the kid with the long fingers wrapped his fingers around Midoriya's arms and legs, not giving him the chance to move around. Bakugo came out of nowhere and punched him in the stomach causing him to cough up some blood mixed with saliva. When the girl saw this she had had enough running in front of him to protect him. "Stop! Please stop, he's had enough! Can't you see that!?!"

"Why do you protect the damned useless nerd. He is just a waste of space who is probably just a disappointment to his own mom." Bakugo stood there with the biggest smirk on his face, but the girl wouldn't back down, stand her ground.

"Huh, whatever, you can have him," as he said that Long Fingers let Midoriya go, letting him fall down to the dirt. She turned around holding the beaten kid in her arms trying to keep him awake until the paramedics arrived. Midoriya looked up at the girl one last time, saying 'thank you' before passing out. The girl carried him to a nearby park bench and waited there.

When the ambulance arrived they got Midoriya, inside the girl with him. "This kid is lucky that we came when we did," the paramedic said, "was it you that called us," he later asked.

"Yes, it was me. My name is Nejire Hado," she said with worry in her voice directed towards Izuku Midoriya, who was still holding her hand.

When they reached the hospital they were moved into a room together. Izuku was laying on the bed next to Nejire while Nejire was waiting for her friend to arrive to pick her up so that they could go home. A woman with green hair, and nearly crying her eyes out, ran in the room, asking the doctor a million questions, similar to Nejire when she got excited and asked things about a person. The doctor did his best to answer his questions but the best part was that the kid was going to be okay.

Not too long later after Ms.Midoriya arrived, Nejire's own friend, a blond guy and his parents came in to take her home. Nejire, while she was getting ready to leave she took on more look back at Midoriya. "He's so brave for his age. He is also kinda cute," Nejire thought to herself, "Work your way to the top so you can be the best hero that you can be."

As she left she said to herself under her breath, "I hope that one day we can meet again," as Nejire left the hospital still thinking of her young savior.
