Chapter Three

Dipper's POV 

...I push the thought out of my mind while I remind myself that my Grunkles, Stan and Ford are still on their adventures. Thinking of spending the summer without them made me sad. Mabel must have noticed my sadness. 

"Hey bro-bro are you doing alright?" Mabel asked me with concern in her voice.

"Yeah I was just think of mom and dad," I don't want to tell her it is because of our Grunkles are not going to be there, I don't want to bring her spirits down.

"Well don't be sad we are going to see everyone again,' she told me with a toothy smile.

"You're right Mabel," I chuckled.

All thought of sadness left me as the bus driver pulled to the bus stop. Mabel and I get off and grab Waddles and our belongings. Nobody knows that we are coming. Our parents gave us an option but Mabel wanted to surprise everyone, I thought it was a good idea so that is what we decided to do. As we walk to the Mystery Shack Mabel could not calm down, she was practically jumping with every step. We also are talking about what we should do when we get to the Shack. Mabel said we should kick down the door but she soon realized that was a bad idea, because she would have to pay for a new door. We finally decided to go with covering our faces and walking in like we are some tourists and acting like we are going to buy something. As we figure out the last details of out plan we see the place that we have longing to got to. We set our belongings by a tree near the Shack. 

Mabel's POV  

Me and Dipper are trying to figure out what to do with Waddles.

"It's not like we can just leave him here, right?" I asked Dipper

"No Mabel he might wonder off," he told me with an are you serious look on his face.

"DIPPER I JUST CAME UP WITH THE BEST IDEA!!!" I yelled.

"Mabel be quiet we don't want everyone know that we are here yet," Dipper hissed at me.

"Oh sorry bro-bro I was just excited with my idea," I explain.

"Well what is-" Dipper said before I interrupted him by going through his bag.

"Mabel what are you looking for?" He questioned my actions.

"This!" I said while pulling out one of his hoodies.

"Why?" Dipper said while sounding confused.

I answered his question by putting on his hoodie and grabbing Waddles and putting him under the hoodie.

"...I guess that could work..." Dipper said.

We walked to the door and me and Dipper exchanged glances and walked inside. The place has not changed at all, well the only thing that has changed is that Soos is in charge now. "Welcome The Mystery Shack," said a familiar voice. I was so tempted to run up to Soos and hug him but I was able to keep my cool, until Waddles Oinked. "What was that?" Soos said with confusion. Dipper started laughing which got a confused look from Soos and a red head that I didn't noticed when we walked in.

"Boy have I missed this place," my twin said.

"Uh.. am I the only one who is confused," Wendy said.

"Nope I am too," Soos replied. Waddles was not able to stay In my hoodie for any longer and hopped out.

"Waddles!" I slipped out.

"Waddles?" Soos said in confusion.

"Does the nickname 'Mystery Twins' sound familiar to you?" Dipper asked.

"Dipper! Mabel!" I hear Soos and Wendy cried and came running for a hug 

"Yep," I said while sobbing. While we all came in for a group hug.

Dipper's POV

"You guys were supposed to come back two summers ago," Wendy said while swapping hats with me.

"Our parents wouldn't let us," I explained to her.

"Why?" Soos asked.

"We don't know every time we asked why, our parents just ignored the question," Mabel chimed in.

"Well that's weird," Wendy said.  

"What is with all the racket?" I hear from a voice that I was not expecting. Mabel and I turned around to see another set of famous twins from Gravity Falls. All four of us looked at each other in shock.

"K-Kids," Grunkel Stan and Ford said in unison.

"Grunkle Stan, Grunkle Ford," Mabel and I cried out, as we run up to them and hug them.

"What are you guys doing back, you guys were supposed to be gone for at least another year?" I questioned.

"I could ask you guys the same question," Grunkle Stan stated. 

"Our parents gave us an early b-day surprise!" Mabel squealed with excitement.

"Well it is good to have you kids back!" Grunkle Ford said while hugging us again, this time Soos and Wendy joined in.
