Chapter 18: Bonnie's Performance

As Freddy bowed, Bonnie took out his guitar. Freddy's performance was pretty cool. He had no idea what was going on. As Fredd passed him, Bonnie tapped him on the shoulder.

"Hey, man. How'd you do that?" he asked. Freddy just grinned. "A great magician never reveals his true secrets." he said. "Well then tell me your fake secret!" Bonnie joked. "Nah, man." Freddy said, imitating Bonnie.

"Next up in the show is Bonnie, who will be playing Over the Hills on his guitar. He said this is dedicated to Mangle, his best friend, who loves rock music. Come on up, Bonnie!" the announcer said, and Bonnie walked onstage with his guitar, waving like he was famous.

"Okay, let's do this." He whispered to himself, shaky. He was nervous. What if he messed up? Also, he couldn't sing. His singing voice was awful. What if people got pissed at him for that?

No, focus Bonnie. Just do your best, and everyone will live you. If you bring yourself down, you'll never be a famous performer. He smiled to the audience.

He plugged his guitar into his amo, and he heard the drums start playing on the speakers. When the guitar part came, he started playing. The audience clapped when he did his solo near the middle, and when he did the advanced parts.

He felt like a legend. Up there, on that stage, not messing anything up. He felt like he already was famous, that the whole audience was just made up of his fans. Was this what being famous felt like? If so, he had to perform more.

He got more into it, adding his own guitar parts in, flowing with the song like he had written it.

At the end, everyone clapped and whistled. He bowed like crazy. When he went back to the lineup to go to the back of the room and watch the last few acts- Mangle and Chica -he saw Mangle looking at him.

"Did you really dedicate that to me?" she asked. She had a small glimmer in her eye. "Yeah, dude. You're my best friend." He said. Mangle hugged him, and he blushed.

"Good luck, Mangle."
