"So when are you and Ben going to admit that you like each other?" Tara questioned as she and Lucy strolled through the cobblestone Greece streets.

The pair had taken the opportunity to remove themselves from the testosterone in the villa as the boys planned their jet ski session for later that afternoon.

"You really need to get over this." Lucy replied as the walked through the market place. She couldn't deny that their had been harmless flirting exchanged between herself and the footballer over the last couple days but that was all it was.

"Lucy seriously. I'm your best friend. I know these things. It's like how you knew I liked Harvey before I did." The darker haired girl reminded her friend.

"That doesn't mean that's what's happening with me and Ben." The blonde replied as she dropped some coins in a street artist's guitar case.

"Fine but when you two finally get together I'm going to say 'I told you so'." Tara confidentially smiled as they continued walking in the hot Greece sun.

"Come on man just do it." James begged his best friend as the boys were getting changed to go jet skiing whenever the two girls got back.

"For the last time, no." Ben replied as he pulled a white t-shirt over his head.

"But why not? You clearly like her. What's the worst that could happen?" James questioned as he slid his feet into a pair of sliders.

"Eh she could laugh at me." Ben answered as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"You know Lucy isn't like that. Come on Ben. I've never seen you look at a girl like this and that says a lot." Madders informed his best friend as Ben grabbed his phone before they headed towards the living room.

It was true that a price that came with being a Premier League footballer was having girls throw themselves at you all the time and although many had caught Ben's eye from time to time, he never actually like anything of them.

"That doesn't mean anything." Ben told James as they arrived into the living room where Harvey and Demarai where already sat.

"What doesn't mean anything?" Harvey questioned his teammates' conversation.

"Ben likes Lucy but won't ask her out on a date." James explained before the defender had a change to say anything.

"Just do it man. Lucy's nice, I don't see the problem." Harvey answered.

"Fine. If I ask her out will you all leave me alone?" Ben finally cracked which was his friends' plan all along.

"Yes." They all answered in reply with smiles across their faces.

The boys' conversation ended just in time as the front door could be heard opening signalling the girls' return to the villa.

"What?" Tara questioned as the girls arrived into the living room sensing the atmosphere change.

"Not a thing. Go get changed so we can go." Harvey was the first to speak up. Neither of the girls argued as they headed to get changed for jet skiing.
