During warDream sliced at the sword that was stuck in George's shield. The netherite enchanted axe met the diamond sword. The axe spilt the sword in half. The owner of the sword- his own brother tackled him down the hill. No one could immediately help him as they we busy with their own duel.
When they finally reached the floor, Dream's axe landed just inches away from his hand. The leader of the rebellion had his head planted on Dream's stomach. He attempted to turn and reached up for it. His brother also reached up, but he was quicker. The axe swung, but it soon stops at his brother's throat.
His brother had more scratches than him, he was also weaker.
"I still can't believe you." He waited for his brother to catch his breathe.
"You're a traitor to your own older brother." Dream's mask covered up his hurt and angry expression at his brother's remark
"Lies," He hisses before continuing.
"We built the SMP together! Then you just threw it out! You threw it all out.... You threw me out." His grip on the axe tightened as he pressed it against his brother's throat. He didn't realize he was tearing up until his brother wiped at the tears that escaped from under his mask. His older brother, Wilbur was stupid, always thinking he was in the right.
"I'm sorry." Dream let out a choked cry in response to his brother's pitiful sorry before finally recoiling the axe, only to bring it back full speed.
It was clean, it was quick.
It was the most mercy Dream knew how to give.
When Dream got back to the top of the hill, the rest of Wilbur's "soldiers" where either dead or retreated. In ten minutes, Wilbur will be up and around again in his so called country. The land of traitors they should call it. It's the only thing that are good for.
Sapnap walked up to him, breathless. He pats Dream's shoulder.
"Ha- you did it." Sapnap said, still catching his breath. Scratches littered Sapnap's netherite armor.
"Now they will know that we will no longer hold back." Sapnap swung his arm around Dream's shoulders. Sapnap started laughing with joy as soon as he caught his breath.
"This war has a great start." George soon appeared in front of Dream, eating a golden apple. Punz followed soon after.
"And now a quick end." Punz added and he swung his sword onto his clothed shoulder.
"They would have never stood a chance." Dream said thoughtfully, making his friends, His loyal friends, turn to him.
"Wilbur always knew that I was the better fighter, he didn't care, he was proud to call me his brother, but now? I don't know. I just don't know him anymore." Dream shook his head, trying to shake away the tears that they couldn't see. Sapnap squished his shoulder, making Dream realize he wasn't alone at that very moment.
"Everything will end soon, Dream. When we win Wilbur will see just how wrong he was. He will come back to you." George's words didn't make Dream feel immediately better. His brother was stubborn, only stopping when he burnt out his candle light. Dream wasn't very patient when it came to fights and battles, but for his friends and family? He could wait until the world ends.
They would have to drain him. Dream never thought he would have to tire out his brother on purpose, he used to love seeing his brother happy and succeeding; he has to do it now. This is his goal from now on, he will head towards it with the same cold determination as he does with everything else. He would share his plans when they get back to the community house.
