**at school the next day
Betty*walking down the hallway*
Jughead: Hey Betty
Betty: Hi
Jughead: How are you?
Betty: I'm fine
Jughead: Betty are you okay?
Betty: Jug we can't talk about it, I'm sorry *tears fall down her face and walks off*Jughead's POV: that's when I saw the real Betty Cooper, not the fake happy but the sad broken. I saw the hurt and fear behind her happy face, it wasn't the sunshine she normally had. It was hurt and anger, the poor innocent girl
**at lunch

Jughead: why are you telling me?
Cheryl: because you can, I believe in you. Please Jughead, don't give up on her
Jughead: I won't give up, most things worth having aren't easy
