The Meeting of a God and a Demon

Author's Note

I thought the picture above is very pretty, and there is parts of inside the building that has forests, plants, trees, places, and animals that look like this.  Though, the time of day is day, not night, and it is much lighter inside the store when this fic takes place, but if it were darker (set at night like this) some parts might look a lot like this.  

Not all parts, because there is huge variety of nature, both magical, mundane, and more in this building/store.  The lighting may also be a bit more different than the picture above, since the lighting would be different in inside than outside like the picture above probably is.  They also see a bunch of animals even if they aren't described much by me, and this is one that will probably wander in and even live there.  

This is also one of the animals that the characters saw in the fic (I don't really describe animals much at really in this.  I'm more focused on the plants and the characters in this.  I might focus more on the animals of this place in a different fic.  Still, even if I don't really describe the animals much, they still do see animals, including the one above), but probably less glowy or at least glowing differently since the lighting would look more like day than night, and some animals might me trying to stay cautious of them, or at least Alcor.  

Though the animals here will probably be more chill, okay, and friendly with with Alcor way more than usual as long as the person Alcor is with, not telling you who, you will know once you read the fic, though you might be able to guess from the description from the description and tags.  But yeah the animals should be pretty cool with Alcor as long as the person Alcor is with is okay, happy, and stuff), so the animal might not be glowing up as much like this.  

But there is some immortal demon Alcor angst and Alcor (Dipper) having a lot of self-hatred in this fic.  The self-hatred isn't said outright, and is more implied and done through metaphors, but it is still very much there.  But there is also someone there to yell at him for being an idiot, and helps himself him to get loving and accepting himself more.  Basically, this fic is the start of a bond between Alcor and another character that you will find out in the fic.  You might be able to guess who through the tags, but I'm still not saying, because I have already said enough, and I don't want to spoil.

Anyways, also just in case some Trigger warnings for self hatred/loathing like I already in the paragraph above, existential crisis (I think, I don't if what is going on in this fic is actually called that, but there is something similar going on in it), some maybe morally questionable/gray/ ambiguous stuff (this fic does involve demons and (old) gods after all.  Though the demon is a former human, he has been a demon for a long while now), it was mostly done in trying to help, but still (and kinda by accident.  Well, you will probably understand once you read the fic, but I just wanted to say something about it), some healing, lighter, and darker underlying themes, and some darker thoughts.  There is also mystery, gods and demons stuff, huge pretty much magical and enchanted forests basically in strangely small stores, and first meetings and a start of an interesting bond.  

This fic is actually a mostly pretty nice, wholesome, and healing fic, but also has some darker things and topics in it.  They aren't too bad (it isn't that dark.  There isn't too much dark stuff), but I was just wanted to give some warnings for you all, just in case.  Okay, enough talking about the fic in the author's note, I haven't really said anything that would spoil anything too much, but I also don't want to say any more, because well, I want you guys actually reading the fic and stuff, haha.  

Can someone tell me when they are done reading this fic, if you think I picked the right age setting and target audience.  I had a really hard time picking.  I ended up picking young adult for the target audience and kept the mature setting off.  However, some the the themes, implied stuff, some of the more complex stuff and explanations, and a couple words that are barely swears if not at all really and only like a few , may be a little much for young adult, and maybe should be new adult (or even adult instead, though I honestly don't think so) instead.  

And while I think most young people would be okay reading this fic.  There isn't really anything explicit, and I kept things pretty tame and clean, but there is some implied stuff and darker themes that Wattpad may consider mature.  Basically, I just really don't know if the mature terms would apply to my fics.  Esp. the suicidal (thoughts) and self-harm part that could makes something mature.  I just can't tell if my fic counts and qualifies for the mature setting, and rather or not I should turn it on.  I just don't know.  

After reading this fic, please tell me if you think the young adult setting and having the mature option turned off is correct.  Or if I should change either one or both to a higher one.  So if I should have this fic at new adult or adult instead of young adult.  And if I should have the mature button turned off or on.  

I'm sorry to ask this, but this is my first time posting a fic on Wattpad, and I just don't what settings and stuff my fic falls under.  So if any readers of this fic could help me out that would be great.  If this fic should have indeed been mature and stuff, I'm sorry for any readers that may not have been prepared and ready for that.  I really think this fic wouldn't fall under what WP's says is mature, but again it very well may be, and I may just be wrong in that regard.  

So yeah, please readers tell me I'm right in this fic not being mature or not, as well if I picked the right target audience, thank you.  It would be best if tell me these things in the comment section of the author's note, and leave any comments on the actual fic itself about the fic, and not me not knowing if my settings for this fic is correct or not.

I might update this author's note once I get enough feedback about some of things I asked about, because those parts in this chapter might not always be needed, esp. once I get enough feedback.  

This author's note might just have more updates like the (trigger) warnings, characters and description of this fic and TAU, and etc.  So yeah, just basically in general I might makes more updates in this A/N, &/or I might just make more author's notes.  It will honestly probably be both, we'll see.  

Wow, this author's note became longer than I meant it to be, like it's a bit over 1, 200 words now.  Anyways, now that the author's note is done, the next chapter will actually be the story/fic itself.  I hope you enjoy it!  The fic is pretty nice and long.  The length of this note is nothing compared to the actual size of the fic.  So let's move on to the fic now!
