DESCRIPTION: If the elite of Washington, DC, have a problem that can't be solved . . . they go to the Kendricks.

When sixteen-year-old Tess Kendrick is sent to stay with her older sister, Ivy, she has no idea that the famed Ivy Kendrick is the capital's number-one "fixer." For powerful people looking to make a scandal disappear, Tess's sister is there to help . . . for a price.

No sooner does Tess enroll at the prestigious Hardwicke School than she unwittingly finds herself following in her sister's footsteps-and rapidly becoming Hardwicke's go-to high-school fixer.

Secrets pile up as each sister lives a double life-until their worlds come crashing together in a conspiracy that reaches from the halls of Hardwicke to Capitol Hill. Suddenly, there is much more on the line than good grades, money, or politics.

The odds are stacked against Tess, and the price for this fix might be more than she can pay.

GENRE: Mystery, thriller, young adult, suspense
NUMBER OF PAGES: 370
SERIES?: Yes, a sequel

OVERVIEW: This book is deserves so much more attention and its unreal its not a #1 New York Times bestseller. This unique, original book was exciting and interesting, full of twists and turns and a powerful female lead character. I've already re-read and I will probably read it a third time soon because I love it so much. I hate that it didn't have a big enough audience to score a third book and that I have to make do with only two.

If you love mysteries, conspiracies, a stupidly brave and curious protagonist and plot twists, read this book. The sequel is even better, trust me.
PERSONAL RATING: 98%. I only docked points because the cover I felt could have been better and it didn't automatically hook me at the first chapter
