Her heart raced, her feet were fast, branches snapped in a sharp noise as her boots hit the ground. Her hair flew behind her as she continued down, her grey unzipped jacket flew in sync of the wind.

Her laughter filled the open area, Enola felt alive. Like she always does when she's with him.

~~
Tewksbury really just wanted some friends, none of the other boys in class wanted to play with him, nor did he them. He was a small boy, only 6 years old, he would run around the small field during recess and pick flowers and read books about them instead of playing football or rugby with the rest of the boys.

They certainly teased him for this, a lot. He didn't mind it at first, then it just became annoying. He didn't pay much mind to it or them until one day at recess.

Tewksbury had been sitting in his usual spot under a tree in the near corner of the field, reading a new book on flowers, he read the pages, putting his finger to the page and underlining the small words with his pointer finger, slightly murmuring the words he read as he kept his bouquet of Bachelor Buttons to the side.

"In.. every cul-ture.. and thro- through-out..time—"
The small boy murmured to himself, his tiny voice quietly reading out the words. He was interrupted by a much louder voice.

"What is this rubbish?!" A older boy in his class named Marcus asked, picking up one of the Bachelor Buttons and throwing it back to the ground in disgust.

"Hey!-" Tewksbury started but was cut off again.

"You little loser! Reading books about.. vegetables!" Marcus mocked and stomped on the small flower.

Tewksbury's eyes started filling with salty tears. His heart sunk as he saw the flowers he spent all of the recess time picking get destroyed.

"They aren't vegetables!-" The small boy (tried to) argued, but was then again cut off, but not by Marcus, this time it was by a small girl in a light purple floral dress, her hair tied to the side in a low ponytail. Locks of brown moved with her as she sprinted over.

"Hey!" She yelled from afar, Tewksbury and Marcus and his friends turned to see the small girl running towards them, an upset look on her face.

Tewksbury immediately got scared of her, she was scary.

"What are you doing to him?!" She asked in a huffed breath, as she stomped her foot on the ground as she arrived.

"What do you care? Crazy GIRL!" Marcus bit back, him and his mates laughing along.

"I care because your being a manky wanker! Now walk away before I break your arm!" She barked at them, her high pitched voice sounding very intimidating to all the boys.

All the boys huffed and walked away with their heads held high and a annoyed look on their face.

She just stood there with a victory grin on her face.
