"Okay, you're not going to be wearing anything fancy. You're wearing something casual but professional. This is more of a charity event, and you'll be playing games with the children. So I suggest you wear a floral top and jeans, or maybe a skirt." said Jade, weighing the options in her head.

"Hey, Jade, where'd you find the information about him and this charity event anyway?" I asked, suspicious. "I checked it earlier it wasn't on the news, at least not yet. They probably asked paparazzi to keep this down..." I trailed off.

"Uh, I...have...resources! Um, someone told me about this event. And I was also invited..." she stuttered.

"Is that certain someone a...man, perhaps who's—

"It'sJordanMatthews, brotherofJulian. Heinvitedmeandprobably... told me about it?"

I smirked. "Sorry, what was that?"

Jade sighed in defeat. "It was Jordan Matthews, brother of Julian. He told me about this event, and maybe asked me...to go with him?"

"So this was the man you've been talking about running away with." I said.

"What? No! I never said I was going to run away with him!" she exclaimed.

I was enjoying this. Jade was usually the composed one between the two of us, she was the perfect lady. But now she was stuttering over a guy who she had a crush on.

"Well, you mentioned it. Rendezvous with a man? Where have you two been going?" I said, grinning like a Cheshire cat.

"Okay, Becca! You can stop now! Anyway, back to the main topic. We're going together and I'll introduce you to him and Julian, alright? I was planning on telling you tomorrow but since you made me spill my guts, that surprise is ruined. Oh, and by the way, Grace is coming with us."

Grace was Jade's fraternal twin sister, they're very different from each other. Jade had their mother's hair while Graace had their father's. Jade was composed and acted like a lady and preferred to be an artist, while Grace was more of the rebellious twin, she was really good at modeling but she hated the paparazzi, she hated the attention too. Grace was also straightforward and honest, she said what was on her mind, and she didn't take any crap from anybody. Sometimes I wondered if they were even sisters. They were so different. I think their parents had accidentally switched their names too.

"I haven't seen her in a while! How is she?" I said.

"Oh, she refused an invite to model for the Pink! magazine summer edition. She didn't like being put in their skimpy bikinis, she said it left nothing for the imagination. I'm glad that she isn't drunk on fame and money. I mean she doesn't even want to model. All she wants is to go to college, the problem is she doesn't know what she wants to do yet." Jade shrugged.

"I'll talk to her tomorrow." I said, nodding. I understood exactly how Grace felt. "Maybe talk to her about what she would like to do for a career."

Jade smiled at me. "Thanks, Becca."

Tomorrow came too early. We were only planning what to do yesterday, today we were putting our plan into action. Time flies so fast, but then it can fly really slow too.

"Are we there yet?" Grace asked, a bit bored.

"Almost there, dear impatient sister. Are you really that anxious to see someone?" Jade said, slyly.

"What? No! Stop putting words in my mouth! I'm just tired of being cramped up in this car, that's all!" Grace said, exasperated.

"You could've just said a simple no. No need to freak out." I said, smiling at Grace.

"Stop ganging up on me!"

Before we could tease her more, I saw that we've arrived. Women were dressed in what you would call Sunday dresses, complete with hats to save their faces from the sun. Men were dresses in formal but casual attires. I immediately spotted the three Mr. Matthews. They were talking together, watching the children playing in the field of grass. One of them saw us and wave us over.

"Jade!" the man said, "Nice to see you here, and you brought friends!" He smiled at me and Grace.

Jade was blushing, well, this must be the famous Jordan Matthews. "This is my twin sister Grace, and my best friend Rebecca."

"Hello, let me introduce my brothers." Jordan waved the other two over. "This is my older brother Julian and this is my younger and annoying brother James." He ruffled James hair. All three of them were incredibly handsome, James in a much more boyish way. They all had the golden brown hair, that was messy in a good way. I studied the brothers more and realized that Jordan and James had bright emerald eyes while Julian had blue eyes.

My eyes met Julian's and I was stunned. His eyes weren't just any blue, it was a deep dark blue, so deep that you could be lost in them. I've never seen anyone with eyes like his.

"Becca, do you want any refreshments?" asked Jade. She was smiling at me, seeing the little interaction me and Julian had.

"Yes, please." She handed me champagne.

"Thank you." I said. Jade leans in and whispers, "Change of plans, just hang around with him, it's not like paparazzi will know if the so called date was true. Maybe you could just talk to him and get an actual date." she smirked.

"Shut up and just go mingle with your boyfriend." I whispered back.

I turned to see Grace and James talking, they were getting acquainted quite well. Well, this leaves me and Julian. I turned to him.

"Well, they all seem to have left us. I'm starting to think this is a setup." He smiled.

I was shocked to say the least, I never thought that he could be this easy going. Well, I shouldn't have judge him in the first place.

I smiled at him and said, "I think so too." And yes, it most definitely was a set up. Earlier, we had told Grace everything, the plan and all that, so it wasn't really a surprise that we were left alone. But I have a feeling that Grace actually wanted to talk to James, well, it seems like my friends are all pairing up with the Matthews.

What's left is you and Julian.

Bad thought, bad conscience. Julian pulled me away from my inner turmoil.

"I'm sorry, is my presence boring you?"

"What? No. Um, I'm sorry, I was thinking." I blushed.

"Mind sharing your thoughts?" he asked.

"I was thinking of my ever controlling mother, and how and when I was going to run away from her." Oops, I said the wrong thing!

"Well, sounds interesting. If ever, you're going to need a place to stay, and a job." Well that was surprising.

"Are you implying something Mr. Matthews?"

"Just call me Julian." he said. Before I could reply, a little boy, around the age of 9 came to Julian.

"Can you play soccer with us? They have a big player in their side and we need someone big too!" the boy was clutching at Julian, begging.

"Sure thing, buddy." he looked to see that the other team had Jordan and Jade in it. "Do you wanna join, Rebecca?" he asked.

I looked down at my attire. Jeans, and a blouse. "Sure, why not?"
