"Stop, Carol!" Levi, her boyfriend jumped on the bed beside her.
"Stop what?" Carol looked up from her book and pushed back her spectacles.
"Stop studying," He snatched the book from her.
"Levi!" Carol frowned. "I have an upcoming test. Give it back to me".
"You have literally been studying since four months! Let's enjoy today. I have an idea! A friend of mine has a party this evening. We should go".
"I can't come," Carol snatched her book from his hand.
Levi gave her a sad look. "I need someone to accompany me".
Then, he went on and on about something Carol didn't bother to hear.
Cath sighed and interrupted him, "Isn't it getting late?"
"What for?"
"The party," She replied and pushed Levi out of her room a little too unkindly. "Go back to the boy's dorm".
She shut the door close.
--------------------------------------------------------
When Levi was all dressed up for the party, he headed back to Carol's room, thinking that maybe he could convince her to come along.
He opened the door.
"Carol?"
She was sitting on her bed, surrounded by books and flash cards, but her head was enclosed between her knees.
"Is everything OK, Carol?" Levi stepped towards her.
She looked up at him, looking pale.
"Yes," She replied, closing her eyes. "Just a headache".
Levi cleared up her books from the bed.
"What are you doing?" Carol asked.
"Lie down," Levi kindly said.
"I have a test - I can't -"
"Please," Levi requested.
"It will do no good," Carol said, but lay down nevertheless.
Levi took of his coat and shoes, and sat down beside her.
"Didn't you have a party to go to?"
"Do you expect me to go to a party when my girlfriend is not feeling well?"
"I am completely fine," Carol said, as she closed her eyes.
----------------------------------------------------
She was not feeling well. At all.
She opened her eyes and suddenly sat up.
"What's wrong?" She heard a voice beside her.
Levi.
"Didn't you go back to your dorm?" She croaked.
He shook his head. "Are you not feeling well?".
"No".
-------------------------------------------------------
"You don't need to do this, Levi," Carol said.
"I do".
Levi had helped her into his car and was now taking her to the hospital.
While driving, Levi kept on giving Carol concerned looks.
