THE DOORBELL RANG, the melody of the bells filling the corridors of SOOVIN's house causing the girl's eyebrows to perk up in surprise. She had assumed that HEESEUNG was bluffing when he stated that he was outside her house (something he quite often did since he was too lazy to actually turn up) and was planning to give him a piece of her mind for disappearing for a year without prior notice.
You see, SOOVIN and HEESEUNG had a long history. Their mothers had been friends since before they were born and to say that the families were closely intertwined would be a complete understatement. Back when they were younger, HEESEUNG and SOOVIN would hang out daily with the only time they had to separate being during school hours and bed time. They were best friends, two peas in a pod in fact, so you can just about understand how shocked SOOVIN was to find out from his mother that HEESEUNG had gone abroad without telling her last year.
