We stand in the training arena, I never thought I would get to be here in person...ever. I look to my side to see Kacchan warming up... even crazier.

He looks at me with furrowed eyebrows.

"Whats with that look creep?"

"I-I'm just adapting,"

"Weird but okay," He says with a sigh, he walks over towards me, "Alright kid what can you do?"

silence.

"Wha-Like you don't feel any intuition? Anything urging to be awakened?" He asks with momentum.

"No,"

"Did you do anything cool in your universe? Have any powers?"

"No,"

"Fuck, you're annoying," I pout, I've been doing this shit for like a week why so mean, "Alright come here kid,"

"We're the same age," I murmur as I walk over towards him.

"Not mentally," he says, "Come sit for a second," Huh? is he being... reasonable? "Stop looking at me like that you pervert I just want to figure this shit out as fast as possible and I'm sure you do too,"

"How do we do it?"

"What was your life like, back in your old life?"

"Pretty normal, I woke up, went to school, hung with my friend after school, studied, slept,"

"You're so...bland,"

"Thanks,"

"You play any sports? I know you were pretty and popular but other than your academics what can you do?"

"Not really, I didn't have interest in anything unless I saw personal benefit,"

"I don't wanna know how deep your philosophy goes,"

"Pretty deep,"

"Creep," This isn't going to help, i wish i could just see bakugo do some crazy hero shit, just like in the anime.

"Can I see you use your quirk?" I ask with big eyes as I turn to him, breaking the previous serious aura. He looks at me confused, "You know, when you go boom boom!"

"What the- Have you never seen it or something?"

"I haven't yet, it might give me inspiration for my inner awakening!" I say excitedly as I lean towards him, he leans back, away and wears an irritated expression.

"Whatever, if it helps," he says as he shoves me away from him, "I don't want us to get caught," He says as he lets a 'small' explosion out.

I stare in awe, I've never seen something so crazy.

"Did it he-"

"WHOA! IT JUST BLEW UP LIKE THAT? WHOA!" I exclaim excitedly, I keep rambling as the moment replays in my mind. His previous expression fades and he wears almost a smile.

"Did you guys not have quirks?"

"No!" I say excitedly as I grab ahold of his hand.

"Whoa watch what your touc-"

"So this thing has the ability to do THAT!" I say in awe as I look at his palms, "Theres so much new to learn here!" I look up at him with the same excitement, he looks down and this time I can confirm, he has a small smile.

"Tsk, I'm gonna be nu-"

"Number one, blah blah, I know," I say, "This is so crazy though,"

"Let me finis-"

"Can I hold your hand and then you let an explosion out?!"

"Wha-That'll kill you!"

"You're no fun," I say with a pout, "I just wanna know what it would feel like, maybe then I cou-"

He doesn't let me finish and firmly grabs ahold of me, cutting me off he brings me so i'm standing in front of him, with both his arms on my shoulders.

"Here," He mutters in an irritated voice, he moves his arms around me so he can grab a hold of my hand and places it on the back of his, "You'll die if you hold my hand, so just keep it closer to my wrist,"

I feel his breath on my neck as he speaks, I look back to see his eyes heavily focused on the placement of my hand, does he even realise what he's doing?

"What? Focus or else you'll die idiot," He says when he catches me looking, I sigh and look back at the hands, he doesn't, "Alright, I'm gonna let a small explosion out,"

"Wait-"

"Huh?"

"Is it safe?" He chuckles and I can feel his chest move when he does.

"Do you think I'm as dumb as you?"

"Hu-"

BOOM

I feel the impact through the back of his hand, as if I was the one who made the explosion. I feel a sense of adrenaline and excitement run through my body, I've never felt such a rush.

Speechless, I just stare at my hand.

"Did you die?"

"Hu-"

"Speak,"

"I-That was...SO COOL!" I yell as I turn back around to look at him, "I could like feel the force like run through my body! It was like, Ugh, I've never felt so powerful!"

He looks at me with a slightly bigger smile, "I told you dumbass, it'll be even better when you do it yourself," He pauses for a moment and his irritated look is back, "So hurry up and learn," He says.

"Mm, I will!" I say, still filled with excitement from seeing his quirk up close.

"Tsk, whatever, lets head back for today we don't wanna get caught,"
