Chapter 6

•TECHNOBLADE•

I followed Dream like a lost puppy, then after about five minutes of walking we reached a very festive dining hall.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

Sapnap, George, and a few other officials yelled.

"Oh yeah, happy birthday nerd."

He stared at us for a minute before sitting down and laughing.

"Blade, sit by me, same with you sapnap."

Dream said, before the maids started handing out the gifts everyone had brought.

I took my seat and watched as he unboxed stuff.

One caught my eye though, it was slightly damaged and came from a very sketchy guy.

I think his name was Jschlatt.

Dream must have noticed it too. He opened it cautiously, but looked a little surprised when he did open it.

It was a crown.

Golden, no crystals or gems of any sort.

He grabbed it and thanked him, then I slightly nudged him.

He turned to me and I handed him a small box with a bow on it. He chuckled before he went to open it.

It was a silver bracelet, but with a small part sticking out so he could pick his way out of locks and all that.

"Thanks."

He said, before a maid started shoving food in front of everyone.

After I ate a bit of food, Dream took the crown and placed it on my head. Almost everyone in the room stopped and stared, before Dream told them to continue on.

It was pretty loud in there, royals yelling, maids asking if you want seconds, and Sapnap who kept chasing a screaming George around.

I was starting to get a headache. It kept everything inside of me to not assassinate everyone here and then run.

"Not hungry?"

I turned to see the guy named Schlatt ask me.

"No."

I try to sound as monotone as possible.

"Cheer up, my friend."

The way he said it didn't sound friendly, but more of a threat. I glared at the man and then continued focusing on everyone at the event.

Eighteen royals.
Three bishops.
Twenty guards.
Nineteen close training instructors.
One shady ass goat guy.
And the deadly Dream.

I was disrupted from my thought when a maid handed me some water, which I thanked her for, then I drank it. God it has been forever since I've had something to drink.
