•Technoblade•

I woke up in the comfortable bed, I almost didn't want to open my eyes. Sadly, it's either that or surprise attacks from the staff of the castle.

"Morning strawberry."

I looked over to see Dream by the window, seemingly staring at nothing in particular.

"Did you have to?" I asked.

"Have to what?" He asked, innocently, as if he didn't even call me a pet name.

I just let out a sigh and walked over to him.

"What are you thinking about?" I questioned.

He hummed before answering, like he was in deep thought.

"If I were to throw a potato, out this window, would it kill someone?" I scoffed at this stupid question.

"Seriously?" I asked.

"No, but I was thinking about sending a message to the kingdom of Isolania for a meeting."

My blood went cold at the thought of this. If he were to find out, what would happen?

"You know, I actually think the prince is here." He continued.

"Technoblade."

The name rang out through the room and it's walls. That damn name.

"I have a few questions for you." Dream said, turning to me without his mask on, smiling.

"First, why is your kingdom so hidden? Second, why get yourself involved in a war that doesn't concern you?"

I processed each word he said as if my life depended on it.

"Uhm, so we have no traitors or liabilities. Next is uhm, blood for the blood god. Wouldn't you die of boredom if you sat in your secluded little kingdom doing nothing but stare at a wall all day. In case you hadn't noticed, I'm a big fan or anarchy."

I said, slightly standing up and extending my arms out.

"I'm guessing you're here to kill me?" He raised an eyebrow, a slightly interested expression on his face.

"That's what they want me to do."

He laughed a bit.

"I'll give you a one minute head start to start running, winner of this, manhunt, gets to decide what becomes of the other person."

He then pointed towards the door. I nodded my head and began my escape. I decided I would use Sapnap as my escape.

"Hey, Sapnap was it? I have an emergency in my family, sister had a heart attack! Where's the nearest exit?"

I said, trying to sound as panicked as possible, this obviously scared him and he told me.

"Thanks." Then I started running off, as soon as the wind of the grass hit my face, I whistled for my horse.

He showed up in no time, it had probably been two minutes by now, I wasted no time and stole a sword from a training barrel and sped my way out of there.

I got to the woods and then I took a left. This led me to an enchanted forest, as I call it, or cursed woods, known by others.

I assumed I was safer in here, seeing that there was always a pattern on how the trees seemed to shift.

I rode for about ten minutes before I decided to take a break and see what I had on me.

A sword, my horse, and some apples I found on the way here.

"Oh Techno~."

Dream's voice rang out, so I decided to have my horse meet me at the edge of the forest to the south.

I hid up in the tree, just sitting there with my sword.

"I see you!"

Dream was standing at the base of the tree, looking at me with a sword and a shield in hand.

I then got a genius idea, so I chucked an apple at him.

"Fuck off, I'm tired." I say. This causes him to laugh, but then again, an eerie echo could be heard through out the forest.

"Dream, get up here." I said, kind of panicked.

"What? Wh-."

"Just do it!" I snapped, a bit worried. I take that back, with lots of worry.

He looked confused, but nonetheless got up on the branches with me.

Then, the beast came.

"It was known as a Norowareta kuma, in English that means the cursed bear. Legend has it, a bear once mauled one of the God's son, so he cursed him to forever roam as an angry corpse."

I looked over at Dream, he looked shocked, then I saw it. It was a giant pitch black bear, it looked like a shadow, but the mangled limbs and dried blood around its fur definitely said it wasn't a shadow.

Soon enough, it wondered out of our area, but I didn't get down.

"Is it safe?"

I shook my head.

"If we were to get down, the bear would smell us out and kill us faster then my horse can run." I said.

"If he can smell us, then why doesn't he know we're up here?" Dream asked, clearly confused.

I paused for a moment.

"He already knows we're here."

"Why hasn't he come for us then?"

"Because, it's like a game of cat and mouse for him, plus he's not all that great at climbing trees."

Dream only nodded his head in response as they waited for the bear to disappear.
