Chapter 10

•Technoblade•

I woke up with a throbbing pain in my head, coincidentally I also have a raging feeling to drop kick someone.

I looked around the room I was. It was my old room, I felt a mixture of sickness and nostalgia.

I got up, getting dressed in some new clothes, well they were my old clothes, but cleaner. I saw most of my stuff was still here, it was like the room was untouched.

I quickly ran to the top of the closet, the trapdoor there opened and I saw a spare sword I kept up there.

I picked it up, but set it down. I had lost the manhunt, so whatever the consequence was, I would deal with it, or find a different way out.

I looked over at the desk, all my books of magic was still there. Odd, I thought he would have taken them. I sat down to study some more spells.

There was a spell of swiftness and leaping, those would be helpful.

Knock Knock

It broke my train of thought when there was a knock at the door, I opened it to see Eret. That was unexpected.

"Techno. I think I can get you out of here." I raised an eyebrow.

"Just meet with Dream, then outsmart his words and escape." He said as he led me towards the all too familiar dining area.

"Techno."

"Dream."

We both greeted each other as soon as we saw each other. But I had a few questions.

"I have a proposition." He said, slowly taking his mask off, making all the maids and servants run away, even Sapnap and George almost left.

"Stay." He said to them as he removed the mask. I saw his freckled face and green eyes again. The peaceful days came for a minute before my mind brutally stabbed them twenty eight times.

"What do you want, hurry it up nerd." I said, getting bored and distracted by simple things like a butterfly out the window or small chatter in the halls.

"You stay here, in the Dream Smp kingdom, in return I will allow L'Manburg to be... independent." He said the last part more hesitantly.

"Can I go back to train these two boys?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Nope, but they can come here." He said, extending a hand.

I shook it, he never said I had to do anything in specific here, plus he really can't control a king.

"Deal." Were the last words I said before leaving the room. I started towards the exit, going to take a walk through the kingdom.

"Where are you going?" Sapnap yelled, chasing after me. I was trying to ignore him until he caught up to me.

"To clear my head." I stated, blandly as I always had. He kept waking with me though.

"I'll come with you." He said, all to excited.

"Did Dream ask yo-."

"No." He said, almost as if he were expecting the answer.

I decided I would question him later, since he seemed like he had something on his mind. We kept walking in a peaceful silence, until I discovered a small garden area that looked abandoned, but it was still very breathtaking.

I sat by what was still a clean enough fountain, moving so Sapnap could fit to.

I was about to ask a question until he decided to speak first.

"Do you think George loves me?"

AHHH sorry for the short episode, it's my birthday, but I wanted to get this out. It's a small bit of motivation with a cliffhanger.
