Sasha, Hoji and Nika went through the tunnels as the rocks started to crush them. The mountain was becoming very unstable and soon it would clasp.

"This way!" She said pointing.

After Sasha explored around for a bit she had managed to find Hoji and Nika. She told them about finding Valt and an exit. But before she could finish the mountain started caving in.

Sasha knew the whole place was unstable from the start considering it was an old abandoned mining cave but everything was very old and potentially dangerous.

Now they were running for their lives just because they went looking in some scary caves for a kid with a toy beyblade who could possibly help them take down a shady man and possibly an alien. And not to mention their army of kids who are probably possessed.

"Get in!"

Sasha lifted the old mining cart back on the tracks.

Nika and Hoji climbed in while Sasha gave it a boost.

"Come on Sasha!"

The mining cart was started to gain distance from Sasha. She ran behind struggling to get in.

Nika held out her hand pulling Nika into the cart.

Climbing in Sasha took the front looking out for any danger.

"Hang on!"

The cart started going up the track just like a roller coaster. The suspension was killing her but to her surprise the cart didn't go down the hill instead it did the opposite.

It started going back down backwards.

Hoji held his hand over his mouth while Nika hugged Sasha. Sasha just held on a tight as she could.

The cart twisted and turned fast going down the track, overall it reminded her more of an amusement park ride than a old mine.

One turn was so tight that cart almost fell over causing the group to lean over on the other side.

Just in time too, a tunnel was coming up. A small waterfall covered some of the group but Sasha didn't mind.

"Hoji!"

Sasha turned around to see Hojis hand bleeding.

"What happened?"

"A rock was about to fall on Nika so I caught it and threw it away from us but something in the rock cut my hand."

A large gash was across his hand bleeding he was trying to fight the pain but Sasha knew it wasn't working.

"Hang in there Hoji we're almost out of here."

The cart went through another tunnel ending up on the side of a hill.

"Guys!"

Above them on another track sprinting was Valt Aoi sweating.

"Valt!"

"What did I miss?"

Valt jumped onto the lower track chasing the mine cart.

Sasha held out her hand and pulled him into the cart.

Little did Valt notice she blushed a little.

"Wow this is so cool!" Valt said pushing his way to the front.

The wind blasted in his face and the walls of the cave became blurry.

"This is awesome!"

The cart hit a checkpoint switching tracks onto another way.

"Oh no!"

The tracks ended, up ahead leading off the track into the depths of the mountain.

"Where's the break?"

"Here it is."

Nika pulled the break as hard as she could but it wasn't doing anything.

The cart flew off the tracks sending everyone into the air a little bit but then it landed with a thud.

"Is everyone alright?" Valt asked.

Everyone else nodded their heads.

"Guys what's that?" Up ahead a boulder stood in the middle of the tracks.

Valt's eyes widened.

At the last second Valt switched the tracks again sending them away from the boulder.

But that sent them down another track going through a dark tunnel.

The cart blasted through pieces of wood saying "Don't go this way." or "Wrong Shortcut." One even had a skull and bones on it.

Water dripped onto the group going down another black tunnel. Pipes were leaking with water and one even drenched Valt.

Then after all the bumps and turns, everything relaxed even when Hoji looked better.

The ride almost became soothing until Valt saw something far off in the distance.

Oh no.

At the end of the tunnel the tracks ended but they were going way too fast.

"Hit the brakes!"

Sasha pulled on the breaks.

It was a painful sound hearing the screeching of the old metal but it somehow did the trick making them bump into the wood a little.

"Is everyone okay?"

"Good because we need to get out of here now! This whole place is coming down!"

Valt and the others took off running towards the exit. All around them rocks fell making it harder.

At one point Sasha even jumped over a rock.

The first one to reach the exit was Hoji, then Nika and finally Valt and Sasha.

The cave let out a huge dust cloud causing the group to shield their eyes.

After the dust settled Valt went to investigate.

The whole entrance was covered up by rocks but some of the graffiti was still outside the cave.

"That was intense." Sasha said.

"No kidding I almost thought we weren't going to make it out."

"I don't know about you guys but that was awesome!"

After chatting about their adventure the group relaxed on their way back to the Bakery.

Nika and Hoji fell asleep while Sasha and Valt hung out.

"I almost forgot to ask where's Lui?"

"Oh he said he would meet us there."

"Well that's Lui for you, always the lone wolf type."

"Yeah that's for sure."

Valt's smile faded.

"Something on your mind?"

"It's just do you really think this is enough to stop Theodore and Phi? I mean Hoji is hurt, Lui seems one foot in on this, and Nika's not even a blader and K..."

"Look I know we may seem out numbered but that doesn't matter as long as we have each other. Besides they're can only be one winner, this isn't a team competition they can't all win."

"Yeah let's just focus on training first and then we'll worry about the tournament later. But for right now we just need to take it easy. It's not like we spent the whole day running for our lives or anything."

"No and it's not like we've been through worse or anything."

The two laughed as the public bus took them into the sunset down the road.
