"Here we go.." Rena exhaled, holding her palm over her stomach. She looked down at her other hand, then back up at her husband with a weak smile. She squeezed her husband's hand, while he gave her a reassuring smile.

He turned her to face him, "Don't worry... I'm sure whatever she has to say," He exhaled, "I'm sure it won't to be to bad, or bad at all." He squeezed both of her hands, the led her into the store; Want Your Fortune?, the one of many signs said. They both pushed the doors open, with tyrian purple signs leading them to the back room.

A lady with in a long black shawl, gestures for the couple to sit down on the opposite side of her. "Why hello, what can I do for you?..." The lady questioned the couple, with a hint of a smirk growing on her face.

The couple looked at each other then back at the lady, "Well um, we were wondering if you could read the fortune of our b-," Rena gulped, feeling a little uneasy.

"Our unborn child," He finished, deeply focus; trying to read the lady. He pulled out one of the two chairs, and gestured for Rena to sit. "Sit, my love." Hardin(Husband) said with a stern voice, still eyeing the lady.

"Thank you." Rena grinned at her husband, squeezing his forearm in gratitude. Once she sat down, he did the same; slowly but surely. "Could you? I mean, read an unborn persons fortune?.." She questioned, a little fearful of what the lady would say.

The lady smirked, "Why yes... I can. Now if you don't mind-" She gestured to the pregnant woman's hand, "Could i see your hand?.." She asked with the same, with the same conniving smirk she had when they arrived.

"Oh!-" She burst, "Ye- yes! I'm very sorry.." She apologized, bringing her hand over the table.

The lady smirk grew bigger, "Oh, it's quite fine." The lady grabbed Rena's hand and flipped it over to her palm. The lady's fingers traced the many lines on Rena's palm; focusing on what it said. "Oh-" The lady gasped pulling away from her palm.

Rena looked at her Hardin then back at the lady in a confused manner, "What?! Whats wrong?..." Rena shrieked, feared for her child's well being.

The lady's smirk well gone, gulped. "Your child, do you know the gender?.." She questioned, sternly.

"Um- Yes it's a boy.." Rena whimpered, squeezing Hardin's hand to the point of it turning purple. She pulled out a paper from the hospital with the baby's gender on it.

The lady ripped it the paper out of Rena's hand giving her a slight shock. The lady read it with complete focus, then sighed when she finished. "Wh- what?..." Rena questioned the lady.

"I read-" The lady gulped, "If your child was a girl, she would die by her 23rd birthday. But sense it's not your safe.." The lady handed the paper back to the couple, Hardin grabbed it; folded it and put it in his pocket.

Rena was in complete shock, she couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Love... Love we need to go.." Hardin comforted her, gently grabbing her by the forearm; then led her out of the store. "Good day," Hardin nodded to the lady; she gave a weak smile while nodding back.
