He knew he'd have to go eventually, but he didn't want to leave just yet. The young prince sat on his bed in the middle of the room, staring up at the ceiling. Today was not a good first impression day but the boy couldn't care less about it. Gulf hated the man he had to marry with a burning passion. Just thinking of him made him scowl at the ceiling.

The young man's face fell from that to one of dejected sadness. All because of the prince from the north, his future was planned out for him. He wouldn't get the chance to find love on his own, like he always wanted. He was afraid his freedom was going to be taken away. He never wanted to marry the prince but he didn't have a choice in the matter. So when he saw the prince in the city this morning he couldn't help but laugh bitterly at the memory.

The sun was unusually hot today, much to the young prince's displeasure. Walking down the street to the waterfront to play soccer for the last time with his friends. He knew this'd be the last time he'd see them for a while. His parents had told him this morning that the northern family was coming down to meet him. Gulf had scoffed at that, leaving them without word as to when he'd return. He wanted a good last look of the city he grew up in, admiring its beauty one last time before he left. He smiled at the passing vendors, giving many of the older sellers respectful wais as he passed.

Coming to the edge of the beach, where the path met sand, he could see his friends already there. Mild was laughing as he played keep away with the ball from Kao all the while Saint watched, sitting in the sand. Smiling as he approaches the group, Saint waving at him as he sees him.

"Aow! Gulf! You're late for once," He heard Mild comment as he gets closer. Gulf rolled his eyes, shaking his head smiling.

"Yeah Gulf, you're usually here before us. What happened? Did a girl want to have the prince exclusive?" Kao gave a suggestive comment, raising his eyebrows up and down. The prince just scoffs at his friends stupid antics.

"No, my parents just kept me a bit to tell me that my fiance was coming to meet me today." The collective sound of oohs and aahs could be heard from his friends, raising his hand to swat at them. All of the boys ducking out of fear, still laughing. Gulf sees the discated ball, thinking quickly to shut his friends up, he kicks the ball as hard as he could at the laughing group of boys. However, he missed the group completely, the ball went flying fast towards the vendors and hit a tall man in the back from where he was sitting. The man flinched slightly, looking down at the ball before picking it up.

Gulf's eyes widened suddenly when he recognized the pin on the man's dark suit. The man's swept back dark brown hair showed in great contrast to the man's strong handsome features. His skin was clear and fair with high cheekbones. His perfect lips brought attention to his sharp jawline. Gulf's eyes unknowingly started to travel down the man's body, taking in every detail of him. The suit he was wearing cligned tight to his body, leaving no room for guess work for what was underneath. Gulf could tell that the man had a muscular body, judging by the veins on his hand. Gulf wondered what it would be like to have that hand- no, not today. Gulf feels his ears get hot, but he blames the redness on the sun. His eyes traveled back up to the man's face only to realize he was glaring at the group.

Gulf was brought back to reality, this was the man taking his freedom away. The man he had to marry for the sake of bringing the kingdoms together and some dying man's last wish. The man who probably didn't even care about the people in need because he's a spoiled little prince who had everything done for him. Gulf laughs coldly to himself. He watches the man switch his glare from mild to himself and they lock eyes for the first time. The other man looked him up and down quickly, looking like he was going to say something.
