Chapter 18

Wei Ying POV

In the next morning the sun light come inside his chamber and touch his beautiful face. When he felt the warm he slowly opened his eyes and looked at the hair pin that he was holding.

" I wish you are here when I wake up mom , dad I miss you so much. I don't know whether I should tell the truth to lan  or not... I don't want to put him into danger " he mummers to himself.

When he heard a light kock on his door.
" Who is it ? " He asked.

" Wei Ying it's me are you awake. Breakfast is ready come down when you are ready " Lan Zhan replied from outside of the door.

" Okay I'm awake I will come down give me five minutes " he get up from this bed.
" Okay "  he hear Lan Zhan reply before he went inside the bathroom.

When he come down he saw only Lan Zhan. Suddenly he felt nervous and he can hear his heart breath.

" Oh Dear Lord what's wrong with me why am I suddenly feeling nervous when I see him, I wish he didn't hear my heart breath " he thought and he put his hand on his chest to claim down.

" Wei Ying are you okay? " He break from his thought when he heard Lan Zhan's deep voice.

" Yes I'm okay don't worry " he smiled to him. " Where is mom and brother Jin Guangyao ? " He continued.

" Oh they have already eaten their breakfast I think they might be at the garden. Do you need anything? " Lan Zhan asked.

" Oh My God Am I that late? How long did I sleep ? " He ask in a shock voice.

Lan Zhan chuckle when he sees his reaction it was so cute he looked like a bunny who get surprised when he hear something around him.

" No you are not it's just that they have waken up early today " Lan Zhan reply with a smile on his face.

" You are so beautiful Lan Zhan... but I don't know that I could tell you or not. I want to tell you that I remember everything but if I say that to you then you will asked me how my mom died. If I told you that then I know what you will do. I don't want you to put yourself in danger "  he lost on his thought again.

Lan smile drope when he saw Wei Ying light face turned into a dark night.
" What's wrong Wei Ying since morning you have been lost on your own thoughts are you really okay ? " He asked in a worried voice.

" Ah... sorry I just saw something in my dream today and it felt so real. That's why I was trying to figure it out what exactly happened " Wei Ying reply.

" What do you see ? " Lan Zhan asked.

" I don't... I can't see properly but I feel that it was real " he replied in a small voice.

" Don't worry don't push yourself to much okay it isn't good for your health " Lan Zhan reply with a bright smile.

" Okay " he smiled back to him.

Lan Zhan POV

" I know something is bordering him. I want to know what you are thinking about. I wish he could have told me instead of hiding from me but at the same time I don't want to give him pressure,he told me when he was ready " he thought.

" Do you want to go around the castle after our breakfast. I think I haven't shown you around since you have come here " Lan Zhan asked

" I also want to see but first I need to do something can you show it to me tomorrow " Wei Ying reply.

" Okay I will show you around tomorrow " Lan Zhan reply with a smile on his face but Wei Ying can't see the pain that was hiding behind his smile.

When they finish eating
" I want to see my step mother do you want to go with me ? " Wei Ying asked.

" No I have something to do you, go and enjoy your time " Lan Zhan reply.

" Okay then see you around " Wei Ying left the table.

When Lan Zhan know that he was alone.
" Go and called Wang Yizhou and Wen Ning and told them that I want to meet them right now " he said to one of his servant.

" Okay my lord " the servant bow and left the place.

After few minutes the servant come inside. " They are hear my lord " he bow.

" Is everything okay Lan Wangji " Wang Yizhou and Wen bow to him.

" No it's not Wei Ying started acting worried after I came back from the village. Do anyone of you know why he is acting like that? " He asked in a serious voice.

" What happened to him ? " Wen Ning ask.

" I don't know what's wrong with him but I can know that he is hiding something from me and he avoided me yesterday night when we eat dinner together and this morning he told me that he saw something on his dream but don't exactly know what it was. That's how he replied when I asked him. But I didn't ask futher because I didn't want to give him pressure " he leave a sigh.

" Did he remembered anything when he saw the hair pin ? " Wang Yizhou ask.

" No he didn't remember his parents face but he told me that if he remembered anything " Lan Zhan reply.

" When I come here yesterday morning when you went to the village
I saw his mom and him talking about something but I didn't hear anything because they were already done talking , But after that Wei Wuxian just keep standing there for a minute and before I asked him what's the matter he just went inside his chamber and didn't came out from his chamber all day, that's all I know " Wen Ning.

" What!!!??? What did you say ? " Lan Zhan was shouted in shock his reaction made Wen Ning scared.

" I saw him taking with his step mother but when went near them to know what they were talking about they had already finished their  talking, So I don't know what are they taking about but I know that Wei Wuxian was standing still before I ask what's wrong then he went inside his chamber and didn't came " Wen Ning reply.

" Hum...that means that they were talking about something but why did he hide it from me. Today morning he said to me that he wanted to meet his mother and he even said no to me when I told him that I wanted to show him around my castle " Lan Zhan pout.

Wang Yizhou and Wen Ning were trying their best to control their laughed but Lan Zhan catch them.

" Why are you laughing when I'm in a very serious situation" Lan Zhan complain.

" You think that was so romantic ?" Wang Yizhou ask and rolled his eyes.

" You don't know anything about love right ? " Wang Yizhou ask and look at his helpless friend.

" Yes I know I love him more than myself " Lan Zhan.

"Yes, we know that but if you want to win his heart. Do this,  Instead of saying that you should say that I will show you the most beautiful place in our Kingdom or I want to take you to dinner " Wen Ning suggest.

" Hum... I will do that but I don't know why he suddenly become so close to his sister mother ? "

" Don't worry we will try to find it out together " Wang Yizhou reply with a smile on his face.

" Okay, thank you " Lan Zhan smile back to him.
