"THIS IS MY VACATION."

______

You went to college in Japan while Oikawa prepared for his scholarship in Argentina. Some might say that having a world-famous Volleyball player as a boyfriend is a wish come true.

Wrong.

Oikawa grew distant from you, claiming that his passion for volleyball is bringing him somewhere. A bright future. You would have understood such a simple reason. He's an ambitious individual, of course, he'll set his mind on a activity he enjoys and he think will lead him to success; the wrong part of it was that in his successful future, he seems to not include you in it.

Somewhere in the middle of June, in your fourth year of college, you broke up with Oikawa. He was distraught. The reason why you've concluded this decision in your relationship with him remains unknown. He had his flight for Argentina booked for tomorrow. He genuinely did not know how to make up to you by then. Even after he flew for Argentina, he remained silent and confused.

He did not reach out, no. Did he at least made the effort to approach you before his flight? Not at all.

Did he really love you? That, you still wonder.

"Edi putangina niya!" (that son of a bitch!) you sobbed out as you continuously wipe your tears that seems to run endless along with your emotions.

"Oh, pano na 'yan? Anong gagawin mo? Akala ko ba mag mamala Taylor Swift kang lifestyle kasama yan si Oikawa." (What now? What are you going to do? I thought you'd live the Taylor Swift lifestyle with him.) Iwaizuma hands you a cup of water to ease your burning and aching throat. Despite assuring him that you will not bawl your eyes out once the alcohol runs down your throat, Iwaizumi still knew that you will be doing the latter.

"Teh, wala talaga ako sa mood para makipag biruan ngayon." (Sis, I am clearly not in the mood to joke around.) you sniffed, taking the cup of water into your hands. You took a deep breath. Drunk and devastated, you still carry a clear view of your plans without him. "Sabi ko kay papa sa Pilipinas muna ako mag stastay, kesa naman mag mukmok ako dito sa Japan." (I told papa that I'll be staying in the Philippines for a while instead of sulking here in Japan.)

"Okay naman dito ah." (It's fine here.) Iwaizumi says, tilting his head, absolutely having no idea how toxic the environment and the system in the country is.

"Gago ka ba, teh? Mas matindi pa nga mag himutok mga tao dito kesa sakin tapos makiki sali pa ako?" (Sis, are you stupid? People here are more distress than I am, should I really join them?) you took a deep breath, biting your lower lip. "Malay ko bang pumopogi point lang pala tong si Tooru nung 2nd year namin nung Junior High. Kung alam ko lang hindi ko 'yan sinagot." (Who knew Tooru just wanted some points for being handsome when we were in our 2nd year of Junior High. If I knew, I wouldn't have said 'yes' to him.)

Which leads to now. You are now staying in the Philippines with your mother and relatives. They openly welcomed you home and offered countless job opportunities through their connections. They wanted to make you feel like you are still family. In or out of the Philippines. You thought that they'll have a hard time adjusting with you around but fortunately for you, they aren't like that.

"Sabi ni Iwaizumi dito siya mag babakasyon." (Iwaizumi said he'll be spending vacation here.) said your mother, her gaze focused on the apple that she's peeling for you. "Hindi mo ba papapuntahin para sa fiesta?" (Are you not going to invite him for the fiesta?)

"Ma, iisang compound lang naman tayo dito. Kabilang bahay lang 'yan si Hajime. Pupunta 'yan." (Ma, we're staying in the same compound as him. Hajime's just around the block. He'll come.) You say, grabbing another knife to help her peel the remaining apples. "Kailan dating niya? May kasama daw ba siya?" (When is he arriving? Is he with someone?)

"Ngayon daw." (Today.) your mother responded, purposely dodging your second question, which immediately got you raising a brow.

"TITA!" (AUNTIE!) your niece calls out as she comes rushing into the kitchen while catching her breath. "TITA, MAY POGI SA LABAS!" (AUNTIE, THERE'S A GOOD LOOKING GUY OUTSIDE!)

You swiftly turned your head to your niece's direction, dropping your apple and the knife as you came rushing with her outside your home. The small bell of your house's main entrance ringing, indicating how quick you and your niece bolted out of your home.

The said good looking guy got your jaw dropping in complete disbelief. Indeed, he is good looking, godly enough to be blessed with such eye-catching features and unbelievable height that girls around the compound found quite attractive. His smile never fails to have your heart beat in a quicken pace.

"Uy, sakto. Papunta palang kami diyan eh." (Uy, right on time. We were about to go there.) Iwaizumi says with a toothy grin, waving his hand as a greeting to you and your niece.

"Iwa-chan, I think someone's taking a picture of me." Oikawa mutters as he pinches on the hem of Iwaizumi's shirt. Upon realizing that Iwaizumi is not giving him the attention he needs, Oikawa glances at the direction he's friend is looking at, wondering why he seems to be more excited than he is.

"TANGINA TEH, BAT MO DALA DALA 'YAN?!" (BITCH, WHY DID YOU BRING THAT HERE?!"

Oikawa's eyes widens, your aggressive voice ringing in his ears and his head as he recalls the times he'd hear your accent whenever you're frustrated. Suddenly, the time that he complains to be moving quite too fast soon ticks slow upon meeting your eyes. His beating heart quickening as his temperature drops.

He's thrilled yet nervous.

He felt like he stepped into a boundary that he shouldn't have crossed. Your boundary. He can feel it, you know? Whenever you're mad. Whenever you're in distress and pissed. He can feel it even if he were miles away.

He just knows you that much.

He's still aching. He didn't know what to do. Hence, he did what he's good at. Acting.

With his arms crossed, he looks at you from your head to toe. Clearly, you're still in your pajamas and unprepared for his arrival.

"Cute." He thought within. Oikawa raises a brow, huffing.

"What's got you so heated? I'm here for a vacation."
