"KAHIT SI LORD PAG TATAWANAN AKO PAG HINILING KITA E."

_______

Your living room area is filled with awkward silence. Not only is it awkward, it's also somewhat intense; with your arms crossed, furrow brows, and overall a sour expression. You are well aware that Oikawa is just bitching around. You have a decent grasp of what's real and what's not when it comes to him: his lies, his emotions, his facades. You know them all too well.

"Tooru," your mother greets with a smile. "Hello."

Oikawa flinches at the sudden mention of his name. He's used to your mother calling him by his first name. You've introduced Oikawa so many times to her and your relatives every video call. Some are aware of Oikawa as your boyfriend, some just knew you had a boyfriend—like your niece.

"H-Hello...Tita." You hear Oikawa greets. Must be extremely awkward for him to be seated in a room with his ex, his ex's mother, his ex's childhood friend,  and his ex's niece.

"Ma, bakit hindi nalang si Hajime yung pinapasok mo? Bat kasama pa 'yan?" (Ma, why didn't you just invite Hajime? Why is that with him?) you question with such a stern tone even Iwaizumi felt the need to fix his sitting posture.

"What are they saying?" Oikawa whispers to Iwaizumi, scooting closer.

"[ name ], ayusin mo ugali mo. Mag babakasyon lang naman siya," ([ name ], fix your attitude. He's just here for a vacation.) Your mother turns to Oikawa, a smile visible on her lips. "After all, this is the first time I'm meeting your boyfriend."

Oikawa's face lights up. He recalls your mother repeatedly saying through video call that she's excited to meet Oikawa someday.

"It's nice to meet you, too—"

"EX. EX boyfriend." you cross your legs as you shot Oikawa a glare. "That is not supposed to be here!"

"[ name ]!" your mother and Iwaizumi exclaims. They thought you'd be more rational about this situation. Unfortunately, you're more sensitive to this than they thought.

Oikawa —who was about to say something— huffs and clears his throat. "Nice to meet you too, Auntie." he says. "I'm sorry that we have to meet this way."

"Bat mo naman kasi dinala 'yan?" (Why did you even bring that here?) you murmur to Iwaizumi who seems to be enjoying the sight before him: your mother and Oikawa conversing properly for the first time.

"Ayon, nag ka injury nung nasa Argentina. Binigyan siyang one week para pagalingin yung sprain niya sa may ankle. Kaya easy-han mo lang. Mas matindi pa yan humagulgol kesa sa'yo." (Well, he got injured when he was in Argentina. He was given one week to heal his sprained ankle. So, take it easy. He's a bit intense when crying, compared to you.) Iwaizumi responded, leaning back to the sofa. "Bat di mo pagbigyan? Mukha ngang di kayo nag kaintindihan dati. Mag kaiba kwento niyong dalawa." (Why don't you give him a chance? It seems like you two didn't talk to each other properly. Both of your stories are different.)

"Binabackstab niya ako, noh?" (He was talking shit about me, wasn't he?) you raise a brow, scoffing.

"Tanga, hindi." (No, stupid.) Iwaizumi sighs, raising a brow. He genuinely thinks that this problem should be settled without him standing as the bridge for the two of you.

Not in favor with what is happening before you, you stood up and excused yourself to your room. Entering, you find yourself pinching the bridge of your nose.

You let a couple of hours fly in hopes that Oikawa and Iwaizumi returns to where they're originally supposed to stay. To your surprised, as you pull your door open, you find Oikawa being surrounded by your relatives who seems to be in complete disbelief that you managed to pull someone like him. Except that, right now, there isn't a relationship tying your two together anymore.

"Bakit naman kayo nag break? Sayang naman!" (Why did you two broke up? What a waste!) stated one of your cousins who seems to show interest in your history with Oikawa.

"Tiyaka na 'yon. Hajime," (Let's save it for another time.) you call out gesturing your hand to the direction of the door, indicating that you no longer enjoy the company they are bringing inside your mother's home; it's crowded, hot, and irritating.

Iwaizumi received the messaged and immediately excused himself and Oikawa away from your relatives. Some of your aunties and uncles were low-key interested in Oikawa but decided to be the casual relatives who wanted Oikawa to approach them instead.

"Umuwi na kayo, mag pahinga." (Go home, rest.) you suggested as you walk along side them toward Iwaizumi's place. "At wag na kayong bumalik sa bahay." (And don't come back to our house.)

If there's two things that Oikawa understood from your tagalog it's the word "Wag" and "Bumalik".

He crosses his arms, huffing. "Why? As you can see, your family likes me. You can lock yourself in a room, but I will come back tomorrow to bond with them." he states, seemingly pushing you to your edge.

You raise an annoyed brow. "What gives you the rights?" you questions in a manner where Oikawa can clearly hear and see your frustration towards him. "Can't you get it into your thick skull that we're no longer together? You have no rights over me or my family. Spend your vacation quick and leave with the fact that we're over."

Iwaizumi stands on the side. Obviously, in his part, this is extremely awkward. If he can, he probably would have already left to get the rest he's been craving for. However, he can't just leave Oikawa in a place he is extremely unfamiliar with.

"...I never agreed to break up with you." Oikawa suddenly claims after a few solid seconds of staring at you.

You furrow your brows, confused, conflicted, and annoyed by him. "What the fuck are you talking about?"

"I never agreed to break up with you. You're still mine."
