_____
"TIGNAN MO'KO."
______
You were awaken by the sound of your family's enthusiastic voices and laughs. It's a Sunday morning which means cousins, aunties, and uncles from different subdivisions came by for a visit after being told that your ex-boyfriend from Japan is present.
You walk out of your room, taking a glance of what is causing the entertainment. Your brows raise at the sight of Oikawa wearing a what seems to be a barong. You've told him about that cultural clothing before, he didn't seem to take any interest at first. Seeing him in one came off as a delight and a surprise.
"Gwapo, diba?" (Handsome, right?)
You turn around to see your mother standing with a cup of coffee on hand. You glance back at the living room where Oikawa is surrounded by your younger cousins, the ones who put him up to this. He's being showered by compliments but Oikawa can't seem to comprehend what they all mean.
"Nahanap ng mga pinsan mo yung barong ni papa mo sa mga itatapon na." (Your cousins found the barong with the stuff that's about to be thrown away.) Your mom says, taking a sip of her morning coffee.
"Bakit nandon?" (Why was it there?) you raise a brow, leaning your shoulder against the wall beside you. You're guessing that she was probably just decluttering. You've known your mother to be quite a hoarder, after all.
"Nag tatapon ako ng mga gamit ni papa mo." (I was throwing away your father's things.) She answer, raising her brows as she awaits for your sudden outburst. She's already used with you taking offense for the behalf of your father.
Though your reaction didn't seem to show any offense. Your gaze is glued to the brunette who went along with your relatives' idea of entertainment. They're awed with his looks but is more charmed with his will to get along with them.
After a moment, the attention on Oikawa had finally died down. You were outside with Iwaizumi the whole time, not wanting to add into the overwhelming amount of attention.
"Hatid mo'ko sa Philhealth bukas." (Drive me to Philhealth tomorrow.) you said, setting down two cups of juices and a whole plate of pandesal. Ever since Iwaizumi showed off his car, you've been taking advantage of it with your self-proclaimed valuable reason: saving money.
"Hahatid kita pero hindi mag papaiwan yung isa diyan." (I'll drive you there but the other one won't be happy about being left out.) Iwaizumi bites down on a pandesal before drinking half of his juice. "Sa Cainta pa 'yon, diba?" (It's at Cainta, right?)
