Jesse had a strange feeling being home in years cause Leslie was his only true friend. And who was waiting for them Jesse's family and the mayor.
"Hey Mr. Aarons." Janice said to Jack Aarons, Jesse's father and man of God.
"Hey, you're Janice." Jack said
"Jess, and I are investigating the Ghost encounters." Janice said.
"It is not the only thing noticed by the people monster sightings have happened in this town."
"What actual monsters like from the Upside Down from Stranger Things or Supernatural!" May Belle said.
"Yes."
"Ok, we'll need a base of operations for the week" Jess said.
"Jess can use his old room." Jack said.
"Dad, screw you." Jess said. "My asshole sisters hate me so damn much! You should know that"
"You can use the house next door." The mayor said as she pointed to the house where Leslie lived 10 years ago.
"No, way I don't wanna have memories of an old friend!" Jess said all concerned.
"What's his problem." Janice ask surprised.
"Remember when you two were in 7th grade, Leslie moved to town, she won in a race against Jess and they became friends, but you were an asshole at the time before you two became friends." Jack explained "then Jess and Leslie hung out in the woods in their treehouse in a world that they created. They were Royalty there, he was a King, and she was Queen, but one day Jess hung out with his teacher at the museum and scared us all, making him a lonely King."
"Cause She died." Janice said.
"Yes."
"And you're talking about her, again Dad." Jess said as he was crying cause today was the 10th anniversary of the day Leslie died supposedly.
"But you remember the time May Belle took my keys for yours and Leslie's parkour obstacle course."
"Enough, Dad." Jess added. "I'm gonna need to talk with May Belle and Janice."
"We'll leave you three alone" jack said as he and the mayor went back in to talk with Jess' Stuff.
"Janice, May Belle, come with me." Jess said as he went for a walk. "There's a place I have to show you."
"Ok, lead the way" Janice said.
"I'll help you."
"It's ok May Belle"
The three had made it to the forest where a bridge was.
"Days after my friend, died I made this."
"It's a bridge, Jess."
"Not just any bridge Janice, this it the Bridge to another world of Magic and darkness, to see it close your eyes and keep your mind wide open."
Janice closed her eyes and when she opened them up she was amazed by a magical world created by Jess and Leslie but refurbished by him and May Belle.
"This is Terabithia, Jess made this place when he met Leslie."
"Every year I come back here to honor her." Jess said as he made a boat and put a new drawing of Leslie on the boat. Jess had been getting better at drawing.
"I wish she was here with us." Janice said.
"May Belle is the princess, and you are now a Knight of our kingdom." Jess said. "Wish you were here, My Queen if the Dark Master hadn't taken you prisoner you would be here".
"Jess, who is that." Janice asked as she saw a centaur who resembled another friend from school.
"That's Bartleby he's the royal advisor."
"You are the head knight of our royal guard founded by king Jesse."
"At your service!"
"We got bad news!!!"
The crap had hit the fan.
