You hummed as you added the finishing touches to the the pasta on the stove, making sure it tasted just right for the nights special guest. The twins were in the living room watching TV while Shota was grumbling to himself at the dinner table. "Eri! Come out now, I'm sure you look great!" You called out for your oldest as you took the apron off and dusted yourself off. "Do I look good?" She asked and you smiled at her. "Darling you look just wonderful, I'm sure this Kota guy will love it." You smiled at the now 16 year old girl.
Today was the day she introduced you to her boyfriend. The two had been dating for three months in secret. When the two of you found out, Shota was beyond furious, you on the other hand were upset she hadn't told you sooner. While Kota was two years younger, they spent a lot of time together due to hanging around with Izuku.
"He should be the one worried about his looks, not you. He is the one trying to impress us after all." Shota interrupted your mother daughter moment with his harsh glare. "Shota, behave yourself tonight." The two of you shared intense stares making Eri nervous. "Dad... Please be nice, he's a great guy." Eri walked towards Shota as his stare softened at the sight of his nervous little girl. Shota still saw her as his little seven year old and it broke his heart seeing her upset. He let out a groan as he tied his hair back. Eri beamed at the sign that he would try.
Just then you heard a knock at the door. As Shota stood up the twins rushed to their seats, giving each other smirks as they waited for the show to begin. Eri followed her dad and bear him to the door. Taking a deep breath she opened the door to reveal a nicely dressed young man. "Wow... Eri... You look great..." He trailed off as he admired your daughter in her red knee length dress. Shota cleared his throat alerting the boy. "Sir! M-Mister Aizawa... N-Nice to meet you..." The twins laughed at his small voice crack. "Behave you two." You glared at them making them shut up.
He finally stepped inside, bouquet of flowers in hand. "It's nice to finally meet you Kota, our daughter has told us a lot about you." You smiled at him as he nervously smiled. "Except for the fact that you've been dating for three months... Behind our backs." Shota mumbled making you roll your eyes. "Ignore him, he's just... In a bad mood." You decide to leave it at that before noticing the flowers. "You even brought flowers." You watched as his cheeks heated up from the comment.
"W-Well I know that Eri likes roses and she told me that you liked (F/F) s-so I decided to get both." He rubbed the back of his neck as he handed them to you. "That's such a nice gesture, come in why don't you sit down. I'll start serving dinner." You told him as he sat down. "Shota a little help?" You asked your husband giving him the look. "Uh oh, dad's in trouble." The twins giggled to themselves. "Sukoshi, Sekai! Go wash your hands." Shota sternly told them as he stood up an rolled up his sleeves.
"Can you be little nicer? I'm sure he's nervous enough already." You whispered as you served a plate. "Why should I? If he can't handle a couple of jabs from me then he shouldn't have dated my daughter." His response made you scoff. "Shota, behave yourself or else." You glared as you went to set down the plates with food, Shota following close behind with two more plates.
Shota sat down and cracked his neck and knuckles making Kota stiffen in his seat. You placed the last plates down along with the garlic bread. After saying your thanks for the meal, the dinner officially began. "So Kota... I hear you wanna become a hero, hows that going?" You asked him before taking bite of your garlic bread. "Well, I hope to enter UA. I've been training with Deku for a while now and he says I'm making great progress... I don't mind getting into general studies, because I know I'll have an opportunity to move up during the sports festival." Kota spoke making you smile.
Things were going somewhat smoothly, it made you nervous that Shota wasn't involved in the conversation. Sukoshi and Sekai had had their full and were now busy playing in their room. "I'll go get the desert." You placed your hand on Eri's shoulder motioning for her to go with you. She reluctently stood up and followed you into the kitchen. "Dad's making me nervous." Eri mumbled as you handed her a plate with a slice of cake. "I know honey, I think he just doesn't want to let you go yet." You mumbled as you placed another slice of cake on a plate. "It's not like he's walking me to the alter... I'll still be his little girl." Eri came up besides you as you pulled her in for a hug. "But to us it is, you've grown so much Eri... And I'm so proud of you, coming all this way. I wish you could stay a kid forever, but I know one day you'll have to leave and this is just another reminder of that." You explained before kissing her on the forehead.
"So what's your intentions with my daughter?" Shota asked as he leaned back in his chair crossing his arms. "E-Excuse me?" Kota blushed at his sudden question. "What are your intentions with my daughter? What's your plan? I know how kids your age are... I've had a couple of questionable students I'm my years as a teacher." Kota's eyes widened as he finally caught on. "I hope you know that my intentions are nothing but pure, I've been taught to respect women and I do remember stoping one of your students from catching a peak at the girls back at the training camp." Kota smiled a bit at the memory. "I know my words probably mean nothing to you but I really l-like Eri and I would never intentionally hurt her. If I were to do that then... The rest would be up to her, I would never want to make her do anything she doesn't want to." Kota finally looked up into his expressionless eyes. "Alright." Was all he said as you and Eri walked back to the dining room.
Shota went back to being quite as the three of you talked. The sun had set and you had started picking up the plates. "Kota... Come here for a second." Shota called him from the balcony. You and Eri shared worried glances as you watched Kota walk towards the balcony. "Yes Mr.Aizawa?" He asked as he stood next to him. Shota stayed quiet for a second taking in the breeze before letting out a sigh. "You're a good kid Kota... But you'll need to impress more than me, the twins already seem to like you and Izuku practically set the both of you up. You still need to pass the test with uncle Hizashi aunt Nemuri, big brother Shinsuo, uncle Mirio aunt Mitsuki and big bad uncle Katsuki... Although he might already like you cause you kicked Izuku way back when..." Shota turned towards Kota and extended his hand. Kota eagerly took it giving him a firm handshake.
Eri's eyes lit up with joy as she silently watched their interaction. As the both walked back inside Shota came to your side as Kota went to Eri's. "Couldn't keep the stern act forever now could you?" You giggled as you looked up at him. "Eh, I figured I could cut him some slack. Side's, if he breaks her heart I'll make sure he doesn't get into UA." He grinned at the thought earning a smack from you. He was going to pull you in for a kiss when something caught his eye. "Alright just because I approved doesn't mean you get to do that infront of me... It's getting late you should go home." He strictly told Kota making him blush.
"Um... I'll see you soon Eri." Kota rubbed the back of his neck as Eri walked him to the door. "I'll text you later." Eri opened the door giving him a kiss before closing the door. Shota stared at her with a raised eyebrow. "What?" She blushed as she pretended nothing happened. "Oh stop it Shota, she's 16. He's her first boyfriend." You rolled your eyes as you walked towards Eri. "He ever touches you and I'll beat him up." You whispered in her ear making her face heat up. "Mom!" You laughed as you continued hugging her.
