Never Alone ( Tadashi x OC)

Chapter 7

Kitiara's POV

I was on my way to the robotics lab, when out of nowhere I heard my name. I turned my head to see Tadashi jogging up to me, I stopped walking so he could catch up. When he caught up to me I gave him a lopsided smile "Well, well, well if it isn't coffee boy", I said. He chuckled nervously while rubbing his neck "Yeah, I had a feeling you would remember me", he said with an apologetic smile. I quietly chuckled, " I'm not holding a grudge if that's what you're thinking, and like I said before, accidents happen", I explained.

"Heh yeah, but are sure you didn't get hurt?", he asked. I smiled slightly "Yes, I'm alright. Just be lucky that coffee wasn't hot", I said with a serious face and pointing my finger at him. He began to get nervous, but then I chucked lighty "Relax, I'm just pulling your leg, but no I'm fine. No harm done", I said with a lopsided smile. Tadashi relaxed and chuckled "Heh, that's good to hear", he said. I nodded "So tell me, where are you off to or were you just following me.", I said with a small smile while raising one eyebrow.

"Oh, I was just heading to my lab actually. I wanted to finish up some blueprints I was working on", he said. "Oh nice, we can walk there together if ya want", I asked, smiling slightly. "Sure!", he said with a smile. With that we proceeded towards the labs, as we were walking, Tadashi and I started talking about different topics.

*Ten Minutes Later *

"Heh, a flying cat? That must've been a sight for your aunt. You and your brother sure make a duo", I said. "Heh yeah, we might've gotten a bit carried away with our inventions" , he said slightly chuckling. "A bit?", I questioned with a chuckle. "Okay, Okay. Really carried away, but luckily no one got hurt", he said. I chuckled "Yeah, that's the important part. Well, this is my stop", I said standing in front of my lab doors. "Oh wow, you have your own lab?", Tadashi asked. I nodded "Yeah, the Dean approved of me having one, well with some convincing by Professor Callaghan", I said with a sheepishly while rubbing my arm. "Thats awesome! Professor Callaghan is a great man", he said with a soft smile. I nodded "Yeah, he sure is. He's the one who convinced me to come here, and I'm really glad to have met him", I said smiling slightly

Tadashi nodded his head "Well, I'll let you get to work. It was nice to get to know you Kitiara. I hope we get to hang out again", he said smiling." Yeah same here, and I'd like that ", I said with a lopsided smile. Tadashi walked towards his lab, but before he entered he waved goodbye. I smiled and gave him a two finger salute, I then turned and entered my lab. As I closed the door I turned to look at my lab, I signed in contentment. "Today was a pretty good day", I mumbled, with that I sat at one of the desks and started doing my homework.

Tadashi's POV

I closed the door and walked over to my desk putting my stuff down. I then walked over to the circular window and thought for a moment. I then smiled to myself, glad to have made another friend. It was nice talking to Kitiara, she's easy to talk to. I looked forward to hanging out with her and getting to know her more.

I took a deep breath "Time to get to work", I mumbled. I walked over to my desk and started working on my blueprint.

*Three and Half Hours Later *

I leaned back on my chair and stretched. I took off my cap and ran my hand through my hair and rubbed my face. I then looked to see the time, it had gotten pretty late. I decided to stop here and head home. I packed up my stuff, turned off the lights, locked my doors and headed towards the building's entrance. I walked by Kitiara's lab and saw that the lights were off. "She must've headed home already", I mumbled.

I walked out and towards my moped, put on my helmet and drove off. I stopped at a stop light and waited for it to turn green. As I was waiting I saw someone run out of an alleyway just down the street, and running behind them were two large guys, and they were shouting. "Hey, come back here!", said one of the guys. I was debating whether to help the person or not "Maybe they're a thief or a criminal......... or maybe a person in need of help", I thought. "Run faster you dummy! She's getting away!" said the other guy.

After mentally debating, I decided to help the person.  As soon as the light turned green I revved the engine and headed towards them. As I was catching up, I saw her pulling things from the side and throwing it behind her to slow the guys down. It worked for a bit, but it wasn't enough, she then took something out of her bag. She stopped running and quickly turned around, and as she did I immediately recognized her.

"Kitiara", I said quietly as my eyes widened.
