Sweet Tooth - 4 (Sugawara)

Chapter 4

Nothing could have prepared me for what awaited for me the next day. I knew Suga had early morning practice, so I wasn't expecting to see him when I got to school. When I got to the classroom though, I saw a bunch of of my classmates surrounding my desk and talking animatedly to each other. When I got closer, a few girls saw me and immediately started bombarding me with questions.

"So, (Y/n)-san, who is it?" one of them asked.

"What?" I replied, not having a clue what they were talking about.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" another asked.

"Or is it a secret admirer?" one of the guys asked.

I pushed passed them, their questions further confusing me. I made it to my desk and that's when I saw it. Sitting on the top of my desk sat a small bouquet of red roses, with a medium sized teddy bear holding a sign. It read "You are Sweeter than Sugar!"

I giggled picking up the bear and hugging it to my chest. I took my seat and smelt the roses as well. They were so sweet. Suga must have done this knowing I would get in later than him. I knew I had to bake him something extra special to thank him for this.

"Ah, I'm so jealous, I wish someone would do this for me." I heard one of the girls say.

"Don't be, she probably did it herself." another girl said spitefully. I looked over to see her standing off to the side, arms crossed and looking annoyed.

"She probably wants people to think someone actually likes her." she said and flipped her long dark hair over her shoulder.

"What? You really think she would go to that much trouble?" someone asked her.

"You honestly think anyone would like her? I mean look at her." she scoffed.

I squeezed the teddy bear closer to my chest, hating how much her words effected me. I guess it does seem ridiculous that this stuff would happen to a girl like me.

"(Y/n)-chan!" the sound of Suga's voice caught my attention. I looked up to see him make his way over to me, his usual bright smile on his face.

"I see you got my surprise, did you like it?" He asked and instantly my earlier thoughts went away. I smiled back at him my chest aching with happiness.

"Of course I did, but you didn't have to." I reply.

He crouches down, that smile of his growing wider. "Well I saw this little guy and thought he was so cute, and it made me think of you. So of course I had to get him for you." he poked the bear's nose and let out a small chuckle.

"Oh yeah, I'm having lunch with Daichi and Asahi in the club room today, you should join us." he said looking at me pleadingly. I giggled not able to say no to that face.

"Sure." I answer and he beams again, standing up.

"Wait, Sugawara, do you like (Y/n)?" one of the guys asked finally building up the courage to come up to us.

"Well, yeah, of course I do." he said nonchalantly, causing me to blush.

"Wait, are the two of you dating?" the same guy asked.

"I would say were are. What do you think (Y/n)-chan?" he asked looking back at me. I stared up at everyone wide eyed. Okay, this was really happening.

"Y-yeah, we are." I answer.

"Whaaaa-?" the whole class erupted, and I glanced over at the dark haired girl who had so much to say earlier. She seemed the most shocked of all.

"Finally, I thought the two of you would never fess up." Daichi came into the classroom catching the end of our conversation.
