I couldn't fall asleep after that. The storm from earlier had gotten worse.

The wind was howling louder than a pack of wolves, as the rain hammered on the windows. There were bright flashes of lightning at least twice a second, and the loud crashes of thunder made it sound like bombs were going off inside the house. The road outside was completely flooded with water, and the windows were like waterfalls. The sky was pitch black, and the dark clouds created a blanket, blocking out the moon and stars. Aside from the explosion-like crashes of thunder, there were also low rumbles, almost sounding as if someone was dragging a corpse across the floor of the attic.

I got up and stood at my window, feeling the house shake as thunder crashed again. Suddenly, a lightning bolt travelled across the sky, followed by another one less than 2 seconds later. As I watched, I felt a pair of deathly cold hands rest upon my shoulders. It was Lucien. Lucien was watching the storm with me.

"Are you enjoying the storm?"

"Yeah. Did you cause it?" I asked, my voice filled with curiosity and wonder.

"No, this one's all nature's doing..." he replied.

As I leaned on the window ledge, I began to feel tired. I started to feel myself drifting off, but as soon as I closed my eyes I heard a noise from the other room, followed by a scream. My eyes widened, as I ran into the other room, only to be met with a sinister grin. The grin belonged to what seemed to be a rabbit plushie. Its fur was a faded pink, and was matted with blood. It had an unnaturally wide mouth lined with razor sharp teeth, the 2 at the front being longer and sharper than the rest, creating the illusion of sharpened buck teeth. It seemed to stand at a height of around 2'6, and its large ears stuck straight up. There was something strange about it though. Its yellow eyes looked real, almost human. It stood upright, and its over-sized hands each had 5 long fingers. It also seemed to have bones, as its spine stuck out of its back, threatening to tear through the skin-like fabric that covered its whole body. And the worst part? Noelle was dead, and this rabbit was standing over her corpse.

I cried over the death of my sister, as it watched me, its stare growing in intensity with each passing second. Then, realisation hit me like a brick. Noelle had a rabbit plushie with faded pink fur, and it was the same size as the one that killed her.

"Sir Bunno?" I asked, seeing if it would respond to the name she gave hers. Its reaction only confirmed my suspicions. Somehow, Sir Bunno had gone from a cute bunny plushie with black button eyes, to this monster. I looked at him with fear in my eyes, as he began to get closer and closer. Then, I ran. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me, soon realising all the doors were locked.

Without thinking, I grabbed Sir Bunno and threw him out of the window, where he then got ran over by a car. There was a psychotic laugh, and he turned his head up to look at me, smiling widely. Then, he disappeared. I breathed a sigh of relief, thinking I was safe, but that feeling of safety and security was very short lived. As I looked out of my window, I saw him climbing up the wall, looking at me with a very disturbing look in his eyes. He was just inches away from reaching my window. I knew he was coming for me.

I tried to exit my room, but I couldn't. Something was blocking the door. I looked up at what I had crashed into, quickly realising it was Lucien. However, his signature smirk was not present on his face, and in its place was a slight frown. It wasn't a frown of sadness though, it was one of anger. He glared at Sir Bunno, while holding me very close, almost defensively.

"Who gave you permission to steal my fun?" he growled, before digging his claws deep into my shoulders. I woke up in a cold sweat, shaking uncontrollably. I went to go check on my sister, only to find her sleeping. I breathed a sigh of relief, and went back to my room. However, there were a few questions on my mind: Why was my sister sleeping in her bed when I was the only one here? Had she gotten back while I was asleep?

And my biggest question: How did I wake up in my bed if I fell asleep at my window?
