The Two Brothers...

Piccolo smirked, having gone through the last of Vale's old fairytales as he closed the book. While Bardock was off with Ruby and Jaune, a certain green man was well into his personal ventures. Holding the book in one hand, Piccolo observed the fountain from one of the many windows.

In the distance he saw Ruby, patiently sitting alone on the fountain bench. He wondered when the saiyan would arrive, already trusting the fusion to handle his leave. Just in time, and much to his amusement, Bardock came trudging out towards Ruby as she waved.

Guess thats it for today, I should get going- Knowing that his teammate was finally doing something productive for a change, Piccolo began walking back to one of the nearby shelves. Before he could insert the book, he felt something small tap his back.

His senses heightened with his body turning in an instant, panicked at how someone was able to sneak up on him. Seeing who it was, Piccolo could only sigh at the familiar face from before.

It was the bunny faunus, who had just jumped back in surprise. Taking a few seconds to readjust himself, Piccolo turned his full attention to the girl before him.

"U-Um... Hello..." Her voice was surprisingly quiet, but Piccolo could make out what she was saying as she waited for his response.

"What do you want?" Piccolo said, wanting to get straight to the point as soon as possible. He started to sweat-drop when the girl began to lose her footing, looking down a bit as Piccolo realised he might've been a bit too blunt.

Damn it... It didn't help that he heard something from behind the bookcase, with a female voice telling someone else to keep quiet. He wasn't sure what was going on behind him, but surely it had to do what this faunus was asking him."So... You were saying..."

"O-Oh.. Sorry...!" Her eyes lit up for a moment, looking back up at the Namekian who had his arms crossed. Velvet was starting to lose her composure to this first-year, even more hard due to their height difference. He was almost as tall as Yatsuhashi, perhaps even the same size despite their difference in age. Such an intimidating aura, yet he seems just as calm as her teammate...

Not too long after that 'breeze' blew Cardin and his team away, they had all but stopped bullying any of the faunus who were in the school. This included her, as security was put in place to make sure bullying was never an issue ever again.

The security guard? A member of Team GBP, Son Bardock. The intimidating, rough, edge-lord of the team was now roaming the halls in the morning and during the afternoons. It was a huge relief to know as long as she stuck in the main halls, she'd be safe. All this had started from the faunus before her, and a type of animal she didn't even know existed until now.

But she needed to do this,  as Velvet took a deep breath before bowing her head. "Thank you, Piccolo... I won't ask what you did but, just know I'm very great... I mean-"

"Don't worry, it's the least I could do." Piccolo said, moving to put the book back in its slot. Walking to the end of the shelf, he gave the bunny faunus one last look.

"Besides, the chumps must be weak if they need to put good people like you down..." His task done and thankfulness taken, Piccolo left the scene as he saw two people behind the book shelf. They were both reading books, as Piccolo continued his exit out of the library.
