[The Dinner]
Kim Chaewon pov
It's been a year now since Y/N and I first dated, he decided to move in to my apartment with me. Now I see his true colors, he do loves me, like a lot. But... turns out there was something I didn't know about him. I found out that his father is a port mafia. I'm too afraid to ask him about it. I know that he keeps a gun in a drawer near the bed, but I've never seen him use it before, or bring it, or even take it out. I've always checked that drawer whenever I could.
"Chaewon-ah, I'm back" Y/N said as he closes the door, but I didn't respond
"Chae? Are you okay?" he asked me as he enters the bedroom
"Sit" I said coldly
"What is it? Did I do something wrong?" he asked back
"Just sit and listen" I replied "Now tell me, what did you keep inside your side of drawer"
"Nothing" he answered
"Oh, it's nothing" I replied as I walked to my wardrobe and opened it, then I pulled his gun, and pointed it at him "So this is called nothing, is it a name? Because last time I checked, this thing is called a gun" I said to him
"Oh... about that" he said with a low voice and facing the floor "I'm sorry, my mom told me to keep it near my bed" he explained
"Is this real?" I asked him
"It's not, it's an air gun" he answered
"So, if I shot myself with this thing, I won't die?" I asked him "Instead I'd just get a bruise" I continued
"I suppose so, I've never used it before" he answered still facing the floor
"Look at me" I commanded him as I point the gun to my leg
"WAIT, WHAT ARE Y-" I interrupted him with the pull of the trigger
"Sh*t it hurts" I said as I rubbed my feet where I shot it and he immediately hugged me
"I'm sorry for not telling you about this" he said as tears rolled down from his eyes
"Is there more of this, gun?" I asked him as I break the hug
"Yes, there's two more" he answered while wiping his tear
"Show me" I said to him and he pulled out a rifle and another pistol out of his wardrobe
"This Saturday, you will teach me how to use this guns properly" I told him
"But-" he said
"It's not a request" I told him as I opened the bedroom door "Now, put those thing away and let's go to dinner" I continued
"Wait, aren't you cooking?" he asked
"Didn't I tell you that Saerom eonni invited us for dinner tonight?" I asked back
"Uhhmmm... nope" he answered
"Well, now you know, hurry up and shower" I told him as I drink the water I poured
"Okay mommy" he teased me
"Yah! I told you not to call me that" I told him while he just laughs
3rd pov
Right after Y/N gets ready, the two couple now are on their way to meet Saerom.
"Chae-ah, I think I'm driving tonight" Y/N said while wearing his watch
"That's out of nowhere" Chaewon answered Y/N "I thought you hated driving" Chaewon continued
"Well, yeah.. but I was thinking that it wouldn't be appropriate for us to go to a dinner at an expensive place by cab or train, especially when we are dressed this nice" Y/N replied
"Babe, we're dressed like how we used to, look at you, wearing the same jacket again, with a damn shirt. I mean, you're literally wearing a collarless shirt" Chaewon replied after scanning Y/N's attire
"I'm still driving" Y/N said in defeat
"Okay, just don't complain later, it's your decision" Chaewon said back while wearing her bracelet
Y/N then took his car keys, and the two went to the parking lot. Being a gentlemen, Y/N opened the doors of the passenger side for Chaewon. He then started the engine of his BMW M8 and immediately drive to the restaurant they were meant to go.
~ Time Skip ~
"Eonni, you're here already?" Chaewon asked Saerom as they reached them
"Oh, Chaewon-ah, are you alone?" Saerom asked Chaewon
"Nope, there's Y/N" Chaewon answered while pointing at Y/N who's walking behind her
"Hi nuna, it's been a while" Y/N greeted Saerom
"Oh my... Y/N-ah, you've grown so muchh" Saerom replied
"Wait, how long have you guys known each other?" Chaewon asked
"I was his private tutor when he was in 4th grade" Saerom answered "Oh anyways, this is Choi Minjae, he's my boyfriend" Saerom continued
"Nice to meet you two" Minjae greeted the two as he stood up "Please, have a seat" he continued
"Have you ordered, nuna?" Y/N asked Saerom right after he opened the menu given by the waiter
"We've just arrived as well" Saerom answered as she also opened the menu
After the four ordered their meal, they decided to catch up, especially Y/N and Saerom.
"So, there's a reason" Saerom started a conversation with a serious look "There's always a reason"
"A reason for what?" Chaewon asked
"For calling you two here" Minjae answered
"What's the reason?" Y/N asked
"You remember how you two got together?" Saerom asked
"Uhh... yes" Y/N replied
"Well, his ex-boyfriend wasn't happy with the idea you made Chaewon your girlfriend" Minjae continued
"But that b**ch was the one who dumped me, he broke up with me" Chaewon added "Not me broke up with him" Chaewon continued
"Well, we're just stating the facts" Saerom added
"Wait, did you two called us here just to say that?" Y/N snapped out from his thoughts
"No, we wouldn't be that bored" Minjae laughed "What day is tomorrow?" Minjae asked
"Uhmm... Friday?" Y/N and Chaewon answered together
"Babe, you sure these two are the smartest of their classes?" Minjae asked
"They were, guess something's changed" Saerom answered "Tomorrow will mark two yearsof you guys dating, so consider this dinner as a congratulatory present from us"Saerom explained
"By the way, Y/N" Saerom continued "How's your mom?"
"She's well, and healthy, she's no longer stressed actually, and I'd say it's a good thing" Y/N answered
"Then, how's your dad?" Saerom asked again
"Him? I've seeing him more frequent recently, I guess" Y/N answered "He's improving, I mean he's trying to change and leave, well, you know, THAT life behind and be a good father to me and my little brother" Y/N added
"That's good, because I met your father yesterday, he asked me to give you this when I see you" Saerom said and gives Y/N a little roll of tissue
Y/N opened it curiously, it's a pendant. Y/N's birth pendant to be exact. Y/N stared at the pendant, while being shocked, he started to let some tears out...
"He kept it" Y/N said
