Hey guys(: Sorry about the delay on KYPOC, I'm thinking of things right now, I promise! But I decided to post a couple starter stories and see which one you guys like(:
I actually made this story last year, but I ran out of ideas quickly haha. But I'm thinking, so I want your feedback, it would make my day(:
I love you all!

Cries of seagulls fill the warm, crisp morning air. The bright sun cascades light and spills it into my room, welcoming me to the new day.
I blink lazily as I stretch my arms over my head, hugging in the day ahead of me. A huge grin pours over my face, because today is my day to shine.
It's really nice, living on a beach house. No one to interrupt your peaceful thoughts and feelings, or be cranky from all the sirens, noisy cars hastily whizzing by, or shouts of hotdog venders, newsstand people asking if you heard the latest scoop on our president, and his gracious life of being "world-changing".
I used to live like that...But ever since my dad got that sweet job transfer from NYC all the way west to Cascade Beach, CA, things tend to shift from being bust fully busy to surprisingly, tranquil.
I finally take the last minute of sleep and slide out of bed, put on my slippers, and venture out the door.
A loud racket fills the air, and I think to myself, is that what he calls music? I snicker, and bang on his door.
"GABRIEL SCOTT JOHNSON!! GET UP! YOU'RE GONNA BE LATE!" I open the door, and he's buried under all of his college work. He goes to Cascade Community College, also known as the 3C hell.
"Gabe, seriously. Please get up? We need to go!"
"Can I please have 10 more minutes of snoozing? I barely got any, stupid papers. I would love that, Melanie."
I sigh, and finally say, "Ugh, fine. I'll go make you coffee, okay?" I start to walk out the door, to the kitchen. He smiles sheepishly and hollers after me, "Love you!"
I roll my eyes. I'm such a sucker. But hey, I understand him. Papers are my worst enemy. I press a button on the Xpress coffee maker, and it springs to life.
Man, we need a new one. This one is insane, I swear. I grab some bagels out of the bread box, and open the fridge for a morning snack.
There's a note on the door, with the magnet-picture of when I was in the lil' tykes soccer league. I was really chubby then.
"Gone for the day, please behave yourselves... Lunch money on the table. Be home late. XOXO Mom + Dad." I smile, then crumple it up and throw it at the trash can; it hits the rim and falls on the ground.
I groan and walk lazily to get it. "Nice throw, Mel," Gabe says as he grabs the piping hot coffee from the maker and dumps about 10 spoonfuls of creamer and sugar into it. I swear, how can he drink that?
I walk back into the bathroom, and start the shower. I look into the mirror, and undo the messed up ponytail, and grimace at the 'coon eyes.
I should really start taking off my makeup every night. When the shower starts steaming, I take off my oversized tee-shirt and pajama pants, and jump in.
