A.N. I don't know how often I will be able to update, but here is the second chapter!

"What do you mean they can come?" Cammy stood in her house, looking at her father with a look of disbelief.

It was later that day, and Cammy had told her dad about Sam wanting to come with 4 other kids. But even though she had expected him to say no, he had readily agreed.

"I mean that they can come," her father said, rising from the couch he had been sitting on. He was very tall, with sandy hair, and blue eyes. He spent his days in a office under the company of GlobalGlobes, a very high end toy company. He had a very high position there, so the family always got to go on vacation. "Why wouldn't they be able to come?" he continued, with a questiong glance at Cammy.

"Well," said Cammy, squirming under his gaze, "I didn't really want them to come........"

"Then why did you say they could?" her father asked.

Again, Cammy squirmed. She REALLY didn't like where this was going."I-I" she took a moment and composed herself. Then she began again "I told them they could so that they would leave me alone. I thought you wouldn't let them come, so I told them they could." she finished, staring at the floor. She looked up at her father, who was staring at her with a look of dissapointment.

Her father tsked. "Now, Now, Cammy. You should know better. You should always keep your word, even to people you don't like. You know that." He sighed, and said. "No matter what your feelings are about this "Sam", you need to keep your word. I will get the five extra tickets, and your classmates will join you on your trip to the island resort."

"But" Cammy blurted-

"No buts," her father stated firmly. "This is the final word." And, with that, he left, probably to go buy the 5 extra tickets.

Frustrated, Cammy stormed back up to her room, pulled out the phone, and called Sarah.

After she had told Sarah everything, she said "I feel really bad now. I never wanted Sam to come, let alone bring 4 other people!"

"There's just one thing I don't understand, Cam." Sarah said. "You keep saying that you didn't want to give Sam those extra tickets, yet you told him you would. What gives?"

Cammy didn't know how to answer. How could she give an explanation, without giving away her greatest secret?

Sarah waited, and then finally said "Well, I hope that, whatever you're doing this for, is a good cause." After that, she waited in silence, and when Cammy didn't reply, she hung up.

Cammy hung up the phone, and got into bed. Right before she fell asleep, she wondered if keeping her secret WAS a good enough cause to let 5 other kids accompany her on the trip was supposed to be just for her friends.
