A.N. I have come up with an updating schedule. I will post a chapter every weekend. Ish. I'll try my hardest.

A week later, Cammy stood with Sarah and Alex at the dock. They were waiting for Sam and his posse to show up, so they could get going to the resort. If they didn't show up soon, however, the girls would go on without them.

"5 more minutes," Cammy said. "And then the helicopter will get here, and we'll be off, with or without them."

Sarah didn't say anything. She was still mad that Cammy hadn't told her why she was letting other kids come on a trip that was supposed to be just for the three of them.

Alex, on the other hand, said excitedly, "Maybe they won't show up." But, just then, they heard someone say "We're here!"

The three girls turned around and saw Sam, smiling and waving like an idiot. And then they saw the people he had brought with him.

Standing right next to Sam was Adam, his best friend and primary supporter in all things mean. He was very skinny, had blonde hair, and piercing green eyes that gave off the feeling he knew exactly what your darkest secrets were.

Next to him was Nic, and his twin sister, Nicole. They were outcasts who, in an attempt not to be bullied, hung out with Sam, and helped him hurt others. They were manly silent, with ginger hair, and matching green eyes.

Finally, there was Danny. Danny was a tiny kid, who was often the target of Sam's jokes and pranks. He wore glasses, and a big safari hat on top of his head, covering his black hair, and shading his gray eyes. He lugged a big bag, probably filled with books, and the girls decided that Sam brought him along for his amusement.

They were all interrupted by a loud noise. Turning around, they saw that a big helicopter was making its way towards the dock. It stopped right in front of them, and Cammy sighed.

"Ok, guys." She said, pointing toward the helicopter. "Time to go."

The ride to the island was mainly silent. Cammy looked into her lap, Sarah and Alex glared at Sam, Sam and Adam whispered to each other, the twins stood there silently, and Danny sat down, reading a book.

When they finally got there, they all stepped out and looked around. They were on a sandy beach, with a forest right in front of them. They could see a mountain in the distance, and heard a waterfall from the middle of the island. But, wherever they looked, they couldn't see the resort.

Cammy's father stepped out of the helicopter, looked around, and asked the pilot where the resort was.

"It's in there," the pilot said, pointing toward the forest. "You go through there, and then you'll come to a clearing. The resort will be there." After consulting the machines on the helicopter, he told Cammy's father, "Sir, we have to head back now."

"Alright." Cammy's father turned toward the kids. "We will be back in two weeks, to pick you all up. Don't get into trouble, and have fun." Then, he got into the helicopter, and it flew away.

Sarah looked at her watch, with read 9 in the morning. "I think," she said, looking around at the kids, "That we should get settled at the hotel, and then start this vacation." She didn't look at Cammy. She was still mad at her for not telling her why 5 other kids had joined them on their vacation.

All the other kids agreed, so they made their way through the trees. But, when they reached the clearing, the hotel wasn't there. Confused, they kept looking.

At 12, they concluded that the hotel didn't exist. They had scoured the clearing and the forest that surrounded it, but there was no trace of it.

It suddenly dawned on them. They were stranded.
