Tsuki was sitting in the front right of the classroom, pretending to be bored, but feeling rather anxious.  Mephisto had told her 'he' was supposed to be here... the one she had been looking for for the last fifteen years... the last long fifteen years...

Suddenly she is snapped out of the thoughts when the door opens.

Rin's POV:
I looked around the classroom, expecting it to be fancy like the rest of True Cross Academy- contrary to my belief, it was a mess and looked really old.  Disappointed, I turned to look at the other occupants of the room, expecting it to be the normal quantity of a classroom.  Again, I was shocked by how sparse and empty it was- less than ten other people were in the classroom.  I scanned over their faces curiously, stopping when my eyes snagged on this one girl... and my heart started racing.  It was a short girl with short green hair and pink eyes.  She looks up and notices my staring.  I want to tear my eyes away (if there is one thing Father Fujimoto has taught me, it is that women get angry too long when you stare at them) but can't.  Surprisingly, the girl smiles and waves at me before dropping her gaze again, looking deep in thought and very pleased with herself.  OMG, she was so... HOT!!!.  I  finally muster up enough strength to look away, my face feeling like it was on fire.  I walk over and take a seat next to the friendly girl in the front middle row, startling her; I can feel her gaze on me and I fight back a blush.  Mephisto (in dog form) hops up on the bench sitting next to me directly after I sit down. "Quiet down class."

Reg POV:
Tsuki couldn't stop staring at Rin- it would have been easier had he sat behind her, but noooo, he had to sit next to her.  She was so happy that finally, after all these years of searching, he- the one she had been looking for for the past fifteen years- was here.  Shifting into a more comfortable position, Tsuki laid her head down on the desk in wonder, positioning it so that she could stare at Rin some more.  The door opened again, but she didn't bother lifting her head- the one she had been looking for was here in front of her, and there was no point in checking anymore.  That and it could have only been one more person- Yukio, Rin's brother, and the teacher of this class.  Implanting her most recent memory of Rin into her head, she shut her eyes and allowed herself to drift off into a satisfying dreamland.  It wasn't like Yukio was going to say anything important anyways.

A few minutes later...

Tsuki was woken up by the sound of yelling.  Sweatdropping, she looked up and immediately saw Rin and Yukio arguing.  Groaning, she got up, rubbing the tiredness from her eyes.  "Can you two argue any louder? They didn't hear you in Europe!"  They both freeze, Yukio probably because he just noticed she was here, and Rin with a blush creeping across his face.  She sighs tiredly.  "I was napping you know."

BANG!

Tsuki jumps and looks toward the source of the noise; Yukio seems to have gotten over his initial shock and is shooting some demons- goblins, Tsuki recognizes.  In a flash, she jumps up and kicks the guns out of Yukio's hands.  Yukio and Rin gasp, though one brother has an unamused frown on his face and the other one an excited look of admiration.  "What are you still doing here, it's dangerous!!,"  Yukio shouts at her.

Tsuki chuckles darkly, memories from her past surfacing at the familiar words.  "Danger?  Danger?!  Ha! I laugh in the face of danger!"  Yukio looks at her, unimpressed, and she forces a sarcastic smirk on to her face, slipping a finger under the rim of his glasses and slightly raising it higher every time she said 'ha.'  "Ha.  Ha.  Ha."  The last 'ha' flipped the glasses on top of Yukio's head.  Rin snickers.

Tsuki goes over to an injured demon on the ground.  She frowns, picking it up, then spreads her normally hidden bird-like wings (one black one white).  "Poor thing.  This one is just a child by the looks of it."  Carefully, she turns it over to expose its injury, then hovers a hand above it, appendage emitting a purple healing glow.  As the twins watch in amazement, the demon begins to heal.

Yukio, realizing that Tsuki is not human as he originally thought, picks up his guns and prepares to shoot Tsuki.  When he sees the raised gun, barrel shiny in the dim light, Rin feels a deep urge to protect her.  "Yukio don't!," he shouts, going in front of Tsuki protectively.

"Why?!  She's helping a demon," Yukio growls.

"DON'T HURT HER!!!"  Flames erupt from his body, catching Tsuki's attention.  She glances up and sees him positioned between her and the gun.  Gratefully, she rests a hand on his shoulder.

"I'm alright, thank you."

As soon as her hand touches his body, a surge of warmth flows through each other's bodies.  Rin blushes and looks down at the ground, embarrassed.  "What is this feeling?," he mumbles to himself.

Yukio hears it though, and growls "who are you?!"  Though he has lowered his gun (she doesn't seem to pose a threat), he still is tense and suspicious of the green haired girl with angel's wings in front of him.

Tsuki just smiles placatingly.  "I'm Tsuki- I'm just a demon-angel hybrid here to help Rin anyway I can."

Yukio raises an eyebrow.  "Why help Rin- you're a demon."

Tsuki frowns.  "So?  Just because I'm a demon doesn't mean you should treat me any different from a human."  She crosses her arms.  "Besides, Rin has opened the door so to speak.  To things that he needs help understanding."  Rin blushes, pouting.

"I can understand things!," he whines, making Tsuki chuckle.

"Cute."

Later after class, Tsuki, deep in thought, was walking through the halls of the old boys dormitory looking for her dormitory (yes, she was assigned a special room in the boy's dorm).  Her bags trailed absentmindedly behind her as she levitated them down the hallway (she has many a special ability).  She turns a corner and sees Rin at the end of yet another corridor, looking inside a room, and stops.  He was most likely talking to Yukio, who she heard was going to be here too, and she had no urge to see that four-eyes again anytime soon.  Unfortunately, that was a wish she could not keep

As she walked closer, she heard Yukio's smug voice reverberate in the empty space.  "It gets better too, there's no one else in the dorm but us."

"Well that's going to change now," Tsuki says with a smirk, arriving at the dorm entrance, seemingly materializing out of nowhere right behind Rin.  Rin jumps a little in surprise, turning to face her with a blush on his face.

"Uh... umm.. hey, Tsuki... " he stutters.  Yukio is unimpressed.

"Really Rin?!  It is a demon!"

"'It' is right in front of you, you know," Tsuki says, leaning against the doorframe and lazily waving a hand, watching as her few bags floated in and set themselves next to an unclaimed bed.

The sight of Tsuki settling in makes  Yukio realize that this actually isn't just a bad dream, and he turns to face her, shocked.  "What are you doing here?  This dorm is for me and Rin!  Me and Rin only."

Tsuki is taken aback by this and not sure how to respond.  She chooses to be sarcastic, looking up towards the ceiling with an air of long suffering patience.  "This isn't a play fort Yukio."

"Nor is it a social gathering."  Yukio stubbornly crosses his arms, to which Tsuki rolls then narrows her eyes, flips what hair she has, and strides right up into Yukio's personal space.  He stiffens, but doesn't move.  Wanting to test him, she leans forward until she is only an inch from his face before slowly baring her fangs at him and softly growling.  His eyes widen in panic, but he holds his ground.  When she is reasonably satisfied that that is all the reaction she was going to get out of him, she took a step back and smirked.

"Aw, you're quivering.  Am I scaring you?"  She sticks out her tongue at him teasingly.

Yukio reaches towards one of his guns. "Get out of my face demon.  Or I'll make you."

Tsuki laughs, showing her fangs in a display of force.  "You can certainly try.  But I've lived more years than you've had hot dinners, and I suggest that if you want to stay in one piece... "  She trails off, allowing her sardonic gaze to flit down to his hands, which she notices are trembling.  She laughs and takes another few steps back.  "Oh lighten up you great lump.  Do you not know the definition of any other words except for 'boring?'"

Rin is absolutely horrified by his brother's actions right now.  He can see behind Tsuki's mask and realizes that she is slowly losing respect (if she had any in the first place) for Yukio, and hopes that just because he is Yukio's brother, she won't judge him the same automatically.  'No,' he reminds himself.  'She isn't like that or she wouldn't have smiled at me this morning.'  Disgusted at Yukio's actions.
