I loved my neighbors dog
So I took it for my own
But the dog didn't love me so it ran away from home
As the year went on
I got another dog
He loved me so
As I do know
But I couldn't see through the fog
So that dog left me twice
And I ended the year off bad
These dogs keep running away
And I'll be left lonely and sad
