He went to the living room and nodded to his parents who were trying to stick needles on a golf ball? Okay, nothing to see here. He reached for the phone and called Tucker and then Sam over, he thought that it'd be better if they came to his house. So while he was explaining everything no one would be listening in and he could clean his room and maybe even pack a little already.

The halfa halted, since when did he willingly clean his room? He stared at himself from the window and noticed how tired he looked. He just wanted everything to be over with and he was so so anxious, something like this has never happened before and he was honestly not handling things well.
Danny opened his door and reached for the secret place behind his bookshelf (Yes he indeed has a bookshelf) and grabbed the gift he had prepared for Sam's upcoming birthday. He would give it to her today and he hoped she would like it.

He was in the middle of cleaning his room and it already looked surprisingly tidy when Tucker and Sam entered, both were on high alert and Tucker yelled "Where is the danger Danny?! What happened?" While Sam only said "Why are you tidying your room? You look exhausted."

Danny smiled at his two friends and went over to hug Sam before he answered "Yesterday and today has been tough. I learned a lot about myself among other things and I guess cleaning my room just helps me getting my head into the right space ya know?" He looked around and went to the suitcase his dad had given him yesterday evening. It was big and brown and had the Fenton sign on it. In bright green. So much in his life was green, he never really noticed it anymore.

The boy turned around "Imma just say it: I'm going to Britain for about a year and I'll be back in June." He looked down and counted in his head the time until he got a reaction. He didn't even get to number one when Sam and Tucker just yelled in shock "What?" "Why now! What about us?" "Never mind that what about the ghosts?" They screamed a little longer in outrage before Danny felt brave enough to interrupt "I know, please let me explain, I have a reason for this. Also, what I'm about to tell you is a secret, it's so secret that not even the CIA knows about it, okay?"

That shut them up and they calmed down enough to listen to him, if they didn't like his explanation, then they could still continue to yell at him. Tucker sat down on the swivel chair and Sam sat next to Danny on his bed. He absentmindly grabbed her hand and began "Yesterday, after I came back from Sam's, I had a long discussion with my parents and two strangers. These strangers were so weird and their clothing had no style whatsoever but they told me that my birth name is not Daniel Fenton but Daniel Potter and my biological parents were British. That isn't even the worst. They also introduced themselves as wizards! Wizards, Sam! Magic and everything is real and I am a part of it because my parents, who by the way are dead, also were magical."

The boy took a shuddering breath and was suddenly very interested in his feet. When he felt Sam squeezing his hand he looked up and met her eyes. She had paled considerably during his rant but now, even though she still looked confused, she also had a gleam of excitement in her eyes "So magic is real? Really real and there are witches and wizards walking around this very planet? Danny, that's amazing!"
Tucker nodded his head along "Sucks that your bio parents are dead but you still have the Fentons, right? You are their son and we already have to deal with your ghost half, we can also deal with a wizard half... Quarter? It still doesn't explain why you are just leaving us for a year though."

Sam agreed and Danny gave them a lopsided grin "Guess I better explain the details then, huh?"

Then he went and explained them what he had learned in the past 24 hours, he told them about how his parents were part of an Order that fought a crazy and powerful man who wanted to kill non magical people and those born into these families with magic. He told them how he had a twin brother who was there that fateful night but was the sole survivor, he mentioned the letter from his biological mom and then explained the school to them. It was nearly eight when he finally stopped. He told them most of what he knew though he didn't mention the prophecy Frostbite told him about and he also didn't mention that he would probably be meeting a lot of ghosts there when he went.
