First, I need to say for my defense that I'm used to that. To it. To, you know, adventure and stuff. It's not my first rodeo and I shouldn't have been surprised at all. But here we are, and I am, surprised and baffled, the back on the wall. Quite literally. It's not like me to be placed in a situation not knowing how to handle it, but, again, here we are. I suppose there's a first time for every occasion...

Sure, you don't end up in Kahr-O-Tirr, a legendary, hidden, sacred, highly protected, Troll-city all the time. Like, this kind of things never really happen to... anyone, right? Unless you're me, of course, and then you have no choice but to go forward. Especially when you're surrounded by trolls, high priests, wise trolls, and they "nicely" show you the way to their cells. For the record, that's how they call their visitors' rooms. Speaks volume about how often they get visitors... So, here I am, not willing to risk upsetting them by refusing to follow and somehow break their welcoming protocol, and we go, climbing those stairs. Do I feel something is afoot? Sure, they're Trolls by the Eternals! Do I trust them? Who do you think I am? A Gelfling? Yeah, Trolls might be willing to be nice to them, but nope, it's not me... A Human? Oh yeah, Trolls respect Humans, they fear them too... But... yeah, you get it... I'm not human either. So, what is left? See, Trolls don't treat Elves fairly, they never have, never will, so a Demi? There's no chance...

Oh. Sorry. I just realized. I am probably speaking gibberish to you right now... I guess I should give you some background and put you up to speed a little. Ok, so, my name is Half-Moon, and I'm a Demi: my father was an Elf, my Mother a Human... Long story. For the past six years, I've been living with the Wise Elves, in Elwìnn. That's a little Elf-exclusive city located in the Walk of the Cascades. Nice place, really. Maybe a little too quiet and old-fashioned, but nice still. The city is mainly inhabited by the Wise Elves and their families. It's a place for learning, enlightenment. And recently, education, because, six years ago when I arrived here, I wasn't alone, in fact, I was accompanied by height children. The youngest, my sweet Blue-Lotus, was only six months old... She's not mine, by the way, in case you were wondering. I'm only nineteen, ok? I'm just a "big sister" to an amazing band of misfits.

Do not be fooled: my world is very different from yours: for starters, we do not wonder if a creator exists, we know they do, for they are at the origin of the creation of the four main communities, and the many other sentient creatures with whom we co-exist. The delicate mission of leading our planet, Innàa, is in the hands of the Linces, unique creatures whose life would be ended with the planet they are protecting.

In my world, our thirteen creators are named the Eternals, or Fliëgen, which means Universe-people. They come and go. They influence our lives or observe them. No one truly know their goals...

Many more things are different, but we'll dive in, just in a few, so you'll get to discover that by yourself. One of the similar things we share, though, is that our worlds are bathed in histories and legends aimed to explain and ordain it, from its creation to now.

And then, there was the Prime Crystals Quest.

This is the story I'm about to tell you. ... The greatest adventure in the history of Innàa.

Hear ye, hear ye, good people,

The story begins again,

Hear ye, hear ye, good people,

The song goes into a trance...
