When the world was born
Out of the heavens fell balls of fire
It was at the time of the Red Sun
Where everything is only ashes and everything moves...
Childeric looked at Old bear with widened eyes, whispering to him in a hushed worried voice:
_is that wise... To get this out when we are at the mercy of unlawful brigands?
Old Bear looked at him with a smiling face. The brigands were all occupied otherwise, minding their own business, he simply answered:
_We are Wise elves men... Talking, studying and disserting... This is our bread and butter... I don't see what would seem so out of context to them... Do you? Listen Childeric, and everybody, here, hear me out: we are stuck in this cell, and only the Eternals know for how long. We cannot afford to waste time doing nothing, or only worrying. If we are not traveling to our destination, then we will be trying to understand the runes we have. I am certain they are a critical element to decipher the enigma that nature is posing to us right now. To solve the puzzle, we must understand what they really mean, what they refer to. They must be a clue.
_We agree with that too, but it doesn't do us much good! What event are these Runes referring to?... Ok, "Red Sun" is fairly obvious... Siegfried remarked, but "balls of Fire", "Ashes" you must admit that this is pretty vague!
_ But that's exactly what we can see all around us right now... Are these Runes alluding to our present or are they describing a distant past that is happening again today? Flavien asked.
_ Either one or the other, it has little consequence, it seems to me, cut off the Stallion.
_ I don't agree, Cyd said. If it's the past that the Runes are telling us, then they are of no interest to us. But if it's the future, then they could guide us to the right way to deal with this situation. So, Past or Future?
_ And why not both? noticed Quicksilver. History may repeat itself again and again... The Universe is a cycle that is perpetually recurring, so the past can become the future.
_If I'm following you, summarizing the Great Pope, this event could have happened before, so we should be able to learn from it. Shouldn't we?
_That's right, that's right.
_ Learn? But learn what exactly, what kind of lessons? Bud asked.
_ Let's review the Runes! they said with one voice.
_ Balls of Fire would have fallen on Innàa. Why is this fact marked so emphatically?
_It's not ordinary fireballs that will restore the unstable situation we are experiencing. I remind you that the planet is in danger so let's stop playing the apprentice magician...
_ No, I don't agree! These fireballs must be of the utmost importance to appear in such a prominent place in this sacred text; we must find out which one.
_ What if... What if these balls of fire were not fireballs but the famous Prime Crystals which the scholar Anam Le Slindian alluded to in his book On the Influence of Prime Crystals? suggested Abela.
_That would open up great prospects for us: according to what my grandfather used to say, these specific crystals possess such an inner power that they could, with the right guidance, create worlds... or heal them, Childeric explained.
