(Y/n) hid with her knees pressed up against her chest as she tried to keep back her sobs. 'Why am I even crying' she thought as she wiped her tears. After a few minutes past she stood and took a deep breath and had hoped Daichi left, she peaked her head out the storage room doors to see the empty gym.

Just as she was about to walk out a hand firmly grabbed her hand. Daichi pinned her against the wall and looked into her eyes. He could see pink puffiness that rounded her eyes.

"(Y/n) what's wrong why did you suddenly run away?" She looked down as she didn't know what to say. "I-I remembered I had something to do and ran out." She lied which was obvious as she fidgeted with her fingers.

Daichi wasn't convinced as he lifted her chin up with his fingers. "Stop lying, you wouldn't start randomly cry and hide in the storage room." He said as he dropped his arms from beside her head.

"I just have a lot on my mind right now, sorry to make you worry, but I need to ask you something." She said quietly. "We're you and Saku kissing earlier?"

Daichi was called out by Saku that night after the ice cream party. He stood there awkwardly waiting as she asked him to meet almost 30 minutes ago.

He was just about to leave before he heard her call out to him. "Daichi! Sorry I'm late." She said as she blushed thinking that he waited for her, when in reality he was already in the area.

"I told you to stop calling me by my first name I never said you could." She pouted which he returned with a disguised look. "What do you need Saku, I promised the guys I'd practice with the-" he was then cut off.

Saku placed her lips on his. His eyes widened as he could feel her lips on his. Without a second given to time to push her away, he heard a sudden noise and looked over to see (Y/n) running.

"Wait (Y/n)!" He yelled as he pushed Saku a bit. "Daichi why chase after her? I'm right here we have to finish our kiss!" Saku whined as she tried to pull him back.

He yanked his hand away. "I don't like you I already told you! Just leave me alone!" He was about to run again but was once again held back.

"What does she have that I don't?! Huh what so perfect about her that you'd choose her over me?" She screamed as she balled her hand into a fist.

He scoffed and looked down at her. "She has a personality that is way better than yours, she nice, kind, caring and a great captain."

Sakus eyes widened as her mouth was slight agape. He glared at her once more before running off to find (Y/n).

Daichi didn't tell her what he said about her but only ended up explaining why she kissed him.

"So you aren't dating?" (Y/n) asked as she was happy to hear he was still single. "No it was all a misunderstanding, but now answer my questions, why were you crying?"

(Y/n) looked down and tried to come up with a quick lie. "I was having a rough day and was already crying when I saw the two of you."

He don't buy it but wasn't going to push any further. He nodded and patted her head.

The two of them headed back toward the dorms together.

Daichi looked down at (Y/n) and noticed her eyes were puffy, he continued to look forward. "Daichi do you like anyone?" (Y/n) asked. "Yeah I do but I'm not sure if she likes me back." He said as he stuffed his hand into his pocket.

"What about you?" He asked she nodded and smiled at him. "Yeah I do but kinda the same scenario like yours."

"I'm sure whoever you like would be luck to have you." He said with a hint of sadness.

(Y/n) shook her head. "Nah whoever you like would be lucky." She giggled as she tried to hide to upcoming tears.

The two bid each other goodnight and went there separate ways.

'Haa I should tell them soon' Thw two thought before drifting off to sleep.

"Alright make sure you have everything! We're leaving in 30 mins is your late we'll leave you!" The coaches yelled out as everyone groggily made their way to the bus.

It was early in the morning and everyone was tired. You were half a wake and half asleep. You made sure to go back thought your teams room and yours to make sure no one forget anything. Just as you walked out someone had called out to you. "(Y/n) hold on!"

Turing around you saw Kuroo running up to you. "Hey kuroo what's up?" He smiled and pulled you into a hug. "I'll miss you, stay safe!" He said as he hugged you tighter. "Kuroo I hope you not confessing again." You whined.

He let go and shook his head. "No I know you don't like me, I just wish we spent more time together." You smiled sadly and gave him a peck on the cheek. "Just text me I'm free to talk." He blushed and nodded as a few of the other came to grab their captain. "Bye (Y/n)!" He yelled before disappearing down the hall.

You smiled and turned back around and headed back to the busses.

"Alright everyone make sure you have everything!" You said to your team before sitting down in the window seat.

"Hey this seat taken?" You looked up and saw Daichi. You shook you head as he smiled at you and sat down. "Ready for the spring inter high?" Daichi asked, while you nodded excitedly. "Can't wait to beat everyone's ass!" He chuckled before engaging in a conversation with Suga who sat other the other side of him.

The ride was quite as Daichi saw you struggling to stay awake. He laughed before making you rest your head on his shoulder.
"Sleep you need it." You blushed as you slightly nodded. Soon enough you were knocked out.
