Meeting Moss

Fern POV

"Fern, are you okay?" My friend Cassie said. I give her a glare because she pulled me out my day dream and I hated when people did that to me. If I had to be honest, it was probably my biggest pet peeve.

"I'm fine, Cassie! Jeez! Don't worry." I roll my head back and sigh while picking up my food tray and skimming it over. "Thanks for getting me my food." I say while eating the cookie and chugging the juice down. I wasn't a big fan of what the school usually served.

"No problem, but it kinda sucks that we go to a school like this." Cassie sighed and bit into her apple. I rolled my eyes at her statement. We been going here for as long as I could remember.

I look around and see vampires with humans. This is what was normal to me.

In this huge school Cassie and I are the humans. So I guess you could say that we are only here because we are the 'food' and that's our only point but we still have to do gym and eat healthy so we have "good blood" for these vampires.

But before this all started we had to make an oath to tell NO ONE about this school. I however told Cassie, the vampire school board found out and they made Cassie come here.

"I miss my parents, do you?" I asked Cassie but she just shrugged her shoulders.

"They don't bother me anymore so I'm kinda happy to not hear them fighting because that's all they do." I bite into my carrots and we see everyone leaving so I take huge bites from my sandwich trying to stuff it all down my throat as me and Cassie walk to the trash can and pour our what's left of our tray into the trash can.

"Yay! We have gym.." Cassie said sarcasticly. I liked gym it was fun and our coach was pretty cool. Cassie wasn't very fond of any sports however.

"Well let's hurry up, we are almost late." I say while grabbing my backpack and running to the gymnasium. I couldn't stop smiling because I loved gym.

We get there right when the bell rings and we change in the girls locker room. We quickly change into gym shorts and a short sleeve red shirt.

"Okay class, we are going outside to play volleyball and tomorrow we will be in the swimming pool so don't forget to bring a bathing suit." Coach Wilson said whole marking the attendance on his clip board. He was only making sure that the humans were here. He could care less if the vampires showed up. He put his blue cap on his thick blonde hair and started to make partners.

"Leo and Rachel." I hear two hands high five each other with excitement. They are always pairs together.

"Mark and Rose." I hear a loud groan from Rose. She was pretty stuck up but Mark is a nice guy.

"Henry and Henna." Another loud groan.

"Mike and Zoey." Another high five.

He stopped for a second and I look around to see two boys left.

Andrew and Moss.

Then it was me and Cassie.

Andrew has blonde hair, pale skin, a skinny figure with little muscles and blazing blue eyes. However lots of girls liked him. Andrew is also such a fun type. He was very outgoing too and lots of people loved that about him. I loved that about him too.

I look at Moss who was known to be bossy and demanding but girls still loved him. He has thick brown hair, big brown eyes, a tall, medium muscular figure and a cute grin. He could be quiet but most of the time he just liked to be in demand.

"Well let's see here." Coach Wilson said while biting the tip of his pen. He paused for a little while as if his future depended on this one Choice he was going to make in a 12th grade gym class.
