Episode 5

Jimin’s POV

“I think that’s enough for tonight, you can continue it tomorrow anyway.”

“I’d rather finish it now or my ideas will fly away. I’ll be done in a few minutes oppa.” Yoonji

I just looked at Yoonji who didn’t bother to look at me when she answered. She’s focusing on writing her essay.

I fixed my position while sitting at the sofa in the living room while trying to keep my eyes open, fighting against my sleepiness. I’m really tired and have been lacking sleep for few days now. I’d been busy with two jobs for almost two weeks already. There’s a problem at BRAVE because Taehyung who was assigned to a separate undercover mission is currently missing. His tracker suddenly went off and we have been trying to trace his location for the past few days. Namjoon and I are currently focusing on that while the others are continuing looking for information relating to Yoonji’s case.

I haven’t had enough sleep for the past two weeks or rather I rarely sleep. Aside from my duty as Yoonji’s bodyguard, Namjoon and I are still on watch for Taehyung’s transmitter to pop up and is really keeping an eye on the background of his current mission.

I can’t help but be concerned about Taehyung. Aside from the fact that we’re the same age, we started at BRAVE at the same time and he had been my partner during our training days. I’m really worried about his safety coz he tends to be aggressive and careless at some times.

But two jobs doing simultaneously is taking its toll on my body. No matter how much I wanted to perform my job, my body is reaching its limits. I’m tired and I badly need sleep, but at my current situation I can’t just doze off.

I yawned again while looking at Yoonji. I blinked my eyes a dozen of times already to prevent me from sleeping. I closed my eyes for a while to ease the stinging even for a bit. I didn’t realize I am already drifting to sleep.

I was suddenly awoken when I felt that I am somehow afloat. I opened my eyes and tried to figure out what was happening and saw a figure of someone carrying me. I couldn’t actually see who it was since I’m still groggy from lack of sleep.

My arm automatically moved and hit the person who is currently carrying me, causing the person to let go of me. I fell on the carpeted floor but I stood up immediately and was about to give the person a kick when I realized who it was.

It is Min Yoongi who is currently holding his face.

“Ouch!! What the hell?!” Yoongi

“Crap. I’m so sorry. I thought somebody was…”

I wasn’t able to finish what I’m saying when Yoongi lift his face.

“I should’ve just woken you up. I should have listened to Kai.” Yoongi who’s face turned into a frown while still holding his nose

I looked at him puzzled about what he is talking about.

“I saw you sleeping on the sofa when I entered. Your phone rang and when I saw who it was from I answered the call and told him you were sleeping.” Yoongi

“Why did you do that?”

He just looked at me in disbelief while still trying to asses his face.

“I tried waking you up for a couple of times but you just won’t get up. I thought that the call was important since it came from Kai.” Yoongi

His hands moved from his face to his pocket. He brought out my phone and gave it to me.

“When I told him you were asleep, he warned me not to touch you.” Yoongi
