I'm sitting in the black recliner, in front of the T.V, watching the nightly news in our small family room.

That consists of a wooden entertainment center with the small T.V on top and has our movies in the little cubbies.
A door to the left that leads to our parent's small room a black

I have my little sister in my arms fast asleep.
I play with her soft short brown messy hair.

Mom walks in from the kitchen (which I where the front door is.) "Lola did you-" My mom lowers her voice when she sees Kara asleep with her head on my side.

Mom takes her light brown mid-back length hair out of a half-fallen-down bun. Still in her work clothes.
Kara looks more like mom every day.
"Did you call Bloom?"

Oh no! I completely forgot about that.
I gently move Kara so I can get up I grab her pink blanket off the loveseat and I cover her up.
"I'm sure she is still up." I peek at my mom's cheek.

I walk through the white-painted hallway with the bathroom on the right as you walk through to my room I share with Kara.

I lay on my twin-sized bed, with grey sheets and comforter that's against the wall by the window. I grab my phone off my nightstand.

I call Bloom and she picks up right away.

"Hay Lola. Are you still coming over tomorrow?"

"Yep. I was playing with Kara just got her to fall asleep. Who knew that a six-year-old could beat me in connect four."

I hear Bloom giggling on the other side of the phone.

"She beat me last time I went over."
"Yeah. I guess she did."

"Anyways you wanna go to the park after Lunch?" She asks.

"Sounds fun." I chirp happily.

"Alright, I'll see you at ten," Bloom says most likely reading her book about fairies with the phone on speaker.

I hear the call become filled my static.

"Kiko! What are you doing with my phone? You silly bunny." Bloom says chasing him through her room based on the noise.

"Bloom, what is going on in there?" Mrs. Vanessa calls out from a distance.

"Kiko stole my phone again." Bloom declares. "I got you now Kiko!" She grabs her phone back.

"Lola you still there."

"Kiko is one special bunny." I declare in a sing-song voice while twirling my long dark blue hair.

"You got that right." I hear Kiko speaking in the background.

"Kiko said hi."

"Hay Kiko I'll see you tomorrow. I might be there a little early if that's alright."

"I don't mind. Tell your mom and dad I said hi."

"Same with your parents. I'll see you guys tomorrow."

"See you later Lola." Bloom chirps.

"See you later." I hang up the phone before getting up.

"Now let's see. What am I going to wear over there?" I say to myself as I open my dresser.

After a while a pick out a pair of dark grey shorts and a black tank top along with my Minnie mouse pajamas, that Bloom and I have matching pairs of.
I put my black sneakers on my nightstand.

"Now where did my blue and white duffle bag go?"
I look through my side of the room but with no luck.

I go back through the house looking, mom. I go into the kitchen. I don't see mom but I smell chocolate chip cookies in the oven.
So that's why mom got home from work later than normal.
I open the small fridge and see a freshly cut pineapple a new jug of milk and some juice cartons.
